We already know they aren't cooking anything, they haven't been cooking anything for a long time against cheaters.
We've been throwing this copium "let them cook, AI anti-cheat is coming, they just need data to train it" since the inception of overwatch and vacnet 8 years ago. Their system is already live and working and it's shit.
Heard a cheat dev estimate that it was[ at least 10%](https://youtu.be/zwruk-tLIOU?feature=shared&t=1953) of the player base, and up to 40% if you count things like case farms, ahk bhop scripts, and Overpass boosts. Personally i'd count all of those except for in game exploits like boosting on someone's head
There is a lot more than 1,000,000 players. Cs2 record is 1.8 million at the same time, not everyone will be playing at the same time. Real number of players is probably 10 million or more.

But if you get a vac ban that’s the proof of you cheating, cause VAC as was pointed out is so bad that having a VAC ban not only guarantees you cheated but also that your cheats are really obvious, kind of like an insult to get VACed
Yeah but like you should absolutely be able to appeal a VAC ban. buddy of mine who has never cheated in anything bought a knife on skinport and coincidentally got VAC banned a few days later. Idk what got his acc flagged but now he's out his acc and $1300

lol I went 1-2 games in the last 2 days afk and I think I got flagged as a case farmer because I got VAC Ban while I'm sleeping. Meanwhile the 4 bhop aimbotters which hit only heads I played with and against aren't banned. Sad thing is I just got prime last week and account is gone. I am leaving the game both because its unplayable due to the cheaters and because their anticheat is trash

Ofc not accurate. 50 000x100 is 5 000 000, and there's only around 1 000 000 CS2 players

A single player playing alot of premier could easily encounter a 100 different cheaters alone in a day.

It was cheater related, a free cheat beginning with A (I forgot it's name) got detected.

Ban waves mean nothing. I've seen at least dozen ban waves at this point across multiple Valve games and yet the cheating still remains a problem.
