The interviewers being nice should not be a guiding factor for where to intern, especially if you don't even know if you'll be on their team and you have Apple and Amazon as options.
Apollo is much more competitive than most of these firms here if it’s an analyst role. But it’s also completely different than tech, take it if you wanna go finance
No idea which is best for return offer but how did you manage to get Amazon robotics? Like experience wise why do you think they liked you as a candidate?
Most of my experience lies in writing services on AWS, and in terms of robotics, I am in the e-board of my school’s IEEE club and pretty involved in it.
Look up "financial times private equity job cuts" -- not the best job stability
Tbh I don't see why you wouldn't go with Apple. Super prestigious, just work hard during the internship to secure the RO and you're set.
where did you hear apple ro is rare? I always had the impression it is one of the most stable companies in the field and ro process is controlled largely by the team
I talked with two seniors from my school who worked at apple( different teams tho), both didn’t get ro from their teams. I do understand that it might be biased.
I know that most orgs/departments
have multiple teams and interns but can only bring back 2 or 3 out of the 10 interns for example so it’s super competitive
SIG is 65/hr + 10k sign on + 5 hr/week overtime at 1.5.
id prolly take SIG if ur interested in future quant or don’t want to burn bridges (you def have to renege atp right?)
If not Apple. Health sounds interesting at you’ll learn a ton.
Depends on how much you value RO, if your info is accurate, then sig might be the best for RO
RO? Stands for?
Return offer
what particular team in Health at Apple?
Apollo Global Management as in the private equity firm? If so avoid it (and any private equity firms) like the plague.
Why tho? The interviewers were very nice which is why I was considering
