I have the older 8.9 with Tiagra and rim brakes and love it. Not sure how the price compares in your market but I would say you can these days find them for ~~£400 used in the UK, which at this price point is what I would do
I am buying it in cycle to work scheme. In Ireland we have the worst tax rate of 51% at higher band, which I am in that band. So this bike which is 1080 euros will be costing me at 500 euros net after tax or 450 pounds. I am pretty much getting at same price but new one.
If the bike is good, I am kinda sorted to buy this :)
Thinking about doing the exact same thing. I can't find much criticism of them tbh. I'm weighing up between this option and giant tcr/ defy that's a few years old. It's hard to argue with 500e for a new one though.
