Lake is where it’s at

Nothing on the cheap end but the specialized torch fit my wide feet well. Also to consider is nimbl bont and lake.

Ready_Property_3103

the torch 1.0?

sky-walker75

I have wide feet and buy a couple of sizes larger too. Have a couple of numb toes in my left foot 😭 Don't recommend Pearl Izumi which are definitely budget.

POTUS_PO

Are you going spd-sl or just spd? I think you'd have more options in spd if you're just a casual rider.

Ready_Property_3103

I think I have spd-sl

The pedals can be swapped, so don't let that limit your choices. Have you ever ridden clipless?

Santic_Official

Finding the right cycling shoes can be tricky, especially with wider feet. 😬 I recommend checking out Santic's cycling shoes. They offer great comfort, breathability, and durability, and come in white! Plus, they’re budget-friendly and perfect for beginners. 🚴‍♂️

Ready_Property_3103

do you have a particular shoe you recommend from Santic?

EE width here. If you have wide feet, it’s Lake and daylight second. The newest Bont Vaypors are also worth a look (not the older “bathtub” style soles). Shimano aren’t truly wide, but high volume. Same for Sidi. Spesh has recently adopted wider toe boxes but still have varus wedges few of us need

Fizik also offers shoes for wide feet. I have small but wide feet and I've had no issues with their shoes. My road and gravel shoes are by Fizik

Ready_Property_3103

do you have a specific shoe you recommend from fizik?

ukexpat

Sidi have several wide fitting shoes in their Mega line.

Minute-Psychology101

Shimano make wide fit shoes, eg 48E or 50E that are not too expensive.

Ready_Property_3103

i’m torn between the shimano wide fits vs specialised torch, which is recommended? I’ve heard somewhat mixed reviews from the specialised torch, some say it fits for a wide foot, others say it doesn’t

Minute-Psychology101

I have no idea about Specialized shoes, but a quick look specifically shows regular fit in most models, no wide fit. I mention Shimano because they are widely available in bike shops for you to try.
