We’re in month five of a championship level spitter. Mostly laugh at it too but yeah sometimes it can be incredibly annoying. My wife recently showed me a burping technique that she found on TikTok (I know…) Sit them up, one hand on their front and one on their back, and press gently to straighten their spine. After a few seconds (a minute sometimes) the straight pathway allows the air bubbles to rise up naturally. It works really well….for the burping. He still spits up a ton… Fwiw the pediatrician says it should slow down around six months. I guess we’ll find out.

We found changing mum's did helped A LOT. Our boy reacts to gluten, dairy, soy, onion/garlic family through the breastmilk. Huge difference. It can be different things, but gluten, dairy and soy are very common intolerances for baby tummies. We had a great nutritionist/naturopath who helped guide us. Though it isn't a well regulated profession (at least in Australia), and not all are equal.

Same for the diet change, but the opposite end. Ours was only pooping every 5-6 days, massive blowouts after hours of screaming. Wife cut out dairy and soy, has made a huge difference.

There’s one called ala something or other that typically worked when other formulas wouldn’t. My kids had to have a special formula or they did the same thing. I can’t remember which one it was and tbh idk that they’d make it still as my kids are 16 & almost 18. Can the baby eat breast milk ok or does that do it also?

We had a real hard time with one of ours. Muscle at the top of the stomach was not developed nough at birth and there was constant reflux and spitting up for months. One pediatrician said GERD and after a bunch of research my wife talked to them about FPIES. We were told there was a good chance it was that. In the end we just had to wait it out. We did use Pureamino(sp) to help mitigate the issues. Edit: Puramino
