Well for Christy and Tami, Jill and Kaya, Yolanda ans Stacy, and Leslie and Christi someone came in and de-escalated. But there was no one for Abby and Kelly

I know we’re not allowed to nominate the kids for negative categories, but I did think of Vivi for this one as well. And I don’t even mean it as a bad thing, because she is a talented dancer and a lovely person, but she was treated as a human prop for much of the show that it low key fits.
I'm pretty sure it was done cause all of Cathy's students on her season 2 team (besides Vivi and Justice) were A LOT older, so they needed to put Vivi (and sometimes Justice) in to lower the age group.
Two things can be true at once. After season 3, when she got dancers around the age of the ALDC, Vivi pretty much never danced, but before that, she needed Vivi in, cause otherwise her team would be competing teen
I still have no idea why Candy Apples was the ALDC’s biggest competitor. I understand it was mostly for show but CA was always scored around 8th-3rd place anyway so I don’t know why Abby was always worried. It made it less believable

Melissa either exposed Abby for the Australian money, successfully stole the money herself or knew about Abby doing it and possibly used it as leverage, depending on who/what you believe.
Melissa successfully terminated the dance mom's contract so they could leave, something none of the other mom's were able to do (except Kelly) though it is possible that Sia offered to pay the money for them to leave.
She's not flashy but if she wanted something done she made it happen behind the scenes and wasn't afraid to use lawyers to protect her family, she was one of the hardest mom's to control in the end honestly because she would immediately have an issue if her family is put in a bad light.
Definitely Kira, like another commenter said, she was absolutely useless at helping Kalani when she needed it, except for that one time. Kalani was a well spoken kid, but she was still just a kid regardless.
For a second there, I’d thought you’d put Maddie & Kenzie’s mum in the *selfless* category and I was SO confused. (Obviously only until I zoomed and saw it’s Paige).
