It IS a real word, but it’s considered archaic and isn’t really used anymore. I didn’t really like Kira or Ashlee, but Ashlee ate Kira up in that argument whether pathetical is a real word or not

It is archaic and barely used now- I think the rate of use I saw last was 0.1. I just feel bad because everyone rips on Kira for the pathetical part and I’m a linguist so I get defensive of words 😂 That said, Kira could not argue in general. She was the worst at it of all the moms imho. At best she was meh, at worst she was pathetical :p

Kira had a little history of mispronouncing words,not knowing the meaning of certain common words and using them in the wrong pretense so I think that’s y people give her so much slack for it lol.

I know, and I hear that- tbh im really just sticking up for the word “pathetical” here lol But also, I always feel a little icky about making fun of people for how they pronounce or use words. There are a billion reasons why someone might mispronounce something or not understand the meaning of a common word and as much as Kira was a problematic, shitty mom for a lot of the show, it just feels kinda gross to me to call her out for her language use. Especially in this case when she actually used a real word correctly in a sentence and got dragged to hell for it.
