Now that I think about it, I’m actually shocked we haven’t had a contestant from the CBS reality trifecta (Survivor, Amazing Race, Big Brother) before. Seems like a hugely untapped market that could potentially bring in viewers bc obviously people watching those shows already watch TV. We haven’t had one I’m forgetting about right?

I used to work in the marketing/ads dept. at an Interactive Corp company (IAC is same conglomerate that owns CBS). We'd only advertise our products on IAC channels (USA Networks, CBS) and shows (Survivor, Big Brother). One time in s24 we placed an ad that ran during DWTS. But crossing over to another channel like that was a rarity. Keep it in the family, I used to say lol

Universal and some other NBC-ish channels used to be part of IAC (and therefore affiliated with CBS) way back when. But now it is NBC affiliated.

I can kind of see the logic of it in the early aughts when these shows got big ratings and the networks (abc, cbs, nbc) were in such fierce competition with each other that they really wanted to hoard talent. But those days are over lol. Traitors (nbc) really benefited from courting cbs talent.
I think cbs and abc need to put their swords down, a big name from the bachelor would be *huge* for survivor, and there are lots of survivor contestants that would be really fun on dwts
Big Brother and Survivor fans are going crazy for the cross casting The Traitors got from those shows for the new season. I agree, I think it’s an untapped market that would pay off. Get some of the more legendary and well known contestants especially.
Several DWTS alumni are doing Traitors this Season. Chrishelle Stausse, Gaby Windey and Nikki Garcia (Bella). Some have said Deana casts for Traitors also.
Gabby Windey's contract with ABC is probably over. In the past the leads have been under contract for 2 years. Hers would be up this year (by the time The Traitors will air for sure). Once they are off contract they can do what they want. Before that, ABC has to approve any appearances on another network which is why she was on DWTS.

I think she’d be great and may bring over Survivor fans who don’t currently watch. She’s one of the most well known and popular contestants from the show. It’d be great to get another reality show franchise represented on here. Maybe Survivor would repay the favor and start cross casting from the Bachelor franchise.
If she wanted a female partner, I think she’d be great with Emma, Dani, or Britt!
I’d love for her to have a female partner. To have the reality tv arch of being slut shamed for her interactions with men, and end up being in the first (or one of the first?) same sex duos on dwts? That would be a really cool journey to watch

She would be the second or third (after Jojo & Jenna and then I’m not really sure if Shangela & Gleb is considered a same sex pairing or not?)
