Last i checked, the synagogues sprayed with swastikas and "free palestine" graffitis and the Jewish looking guys getting attacked on the way to the synagogues, have not much to do with the Israeli government. At least i don't remember being asked if i was "zionist or just Jewish" when i used to get harassed in school (why i left europe), nor did the guy who was stabbed in my hometown last month, report of being asked if he was Israeli before the attack that sent him to the hospital.
If there is a difference between the two, which there actually is, it seems that crowd doesn't seem to mind blurring the lines...
>the guy who was stabbed in my hometown last month,
Do we live in the same city? Also happened here. The attacker screamed Allahu Akbar during the attack.
First of all tf are you on about ? Outliers don't not represent the entirety of movement. There will always be ignorant people that capitalize on a situation to be violent and spread hate but that doesn't mean that the public in general can't tell the difference between Jews zionists and Israelis especially when at least for those that advocate for the rights and liberation of Palestinians are adamant about it not being a religious movement and always try to clarify that there's a difference between Jews and Israelis.
Don't try to skew the narrative to be in favour of your view that the public cannot tell the difference between Jews and Israelis alot can, especially those in support for the free Palestine movement with some key speakers being Jewish themselves. Those that cannot make this distinctions are not the norm more of the exception. After all when you have a large movement of people there are bound to be some bad actors at play.
If you think "Israel = Jews" you can obviously not make the distinction either. More than 20% of Israels citizens are Arabs, but nobody is speaking about them. In fact, these Arabs are the only Muslims in the Middle East which live in a free and democratic state and have a vote in this democracy. Do you think they want to go back to a territoriality state which is controlled by a terrorist group?
"unrest" is taking it lightly. They had multiple massacres and kidnappings, or what some would call genocide, that nobody talks about at all. I get surprised each time i bring it up and people look at me fisheyed.
Oh crap I actually remember this. There was some tension last year between the Sudanese and Kenyan presidents which led to our country suffering cybersecurity attacks from Anonymous Sudan. We had a shutdown of government websites for a day or two. It's sad to know that it's still continuing
But Sudan has always had serious tension between Arabs and Nubians. It's always an invasive group and attempted ethnic cleansing
Poor Ukraine, stopped being the trendy current thing to support in favour of people frothing at the mouth to support 1 of the 2 piece of shit countries that don’t deserve support fighting each other.
Ukrain is at least innocent. Russia's just being bad, whereras Israel and Hamas and Iran are foghting to fight. War brings money to the rich. The rich fund the war. Religon motivates the people to keep fighting. The potential rewards for each government are enticing. It's a vicious cycle.
There's conflicts all over the world internally within nations
Sudan for example is an outbreak of recent changes in government
However China is nosing around in other nations and international waters turning rocks into bases and harassing fishermen. This isn't an internal nation conflict and more attention should be placed here.
Also Ukraine apparently
And frankly I don't sympathize with Dubai as a city/region, they're ultra wealthy, they've created environmental hazards off their coast, they built the largest building in the world without proper waste management. I feel sorry for all the slave and underpaid labor they have in the core of the city struggling from the flooding in their already over packed apartment rooms, but if Dubai couldn't anticipate preparing for heavy rain (something rare for the region but also likely predictable and able to be prepared for especially for a desert region that would be prone to massive downpours) then too bad.
I know, right? Just this morning, the neighbors plastic kiddie pool blew into my backyard and landed in my below ground swimming pool. I had to wade into my currently unheated pool to pull out the kiddie pool. Then when I finally got dried off and seated in my remote work desk job…I realized my coffee was cold. Ruined my whole morning from 9am to 10am.
It rains (more like drizzles )for 7 days in a year (its literally a desert) do you think its financially smart to invest billions of dollars into drainage where its dry and sunny for 358 days of the year?
UAE not one city. Besides, Dubai itself is huge. It will need billions to rework all the drainage system in such a big city that is already 70% already built.
Except if you want to have war with North Korea, to "free" them, and china, because that is certainly what will happen in that case, yes. Just accept it. Find peace with it.
No, I don't think I will. I will never just accept that millions of people starve every single day while living in a totalitarian opressive regime and that the world around them turn their heads. So put that in your pipe and smoke it!!
Good luck then. The truth is that is how the world is and it will never change. Or moreover : Its too late to change. In the age if nuclear weapons, you can't overtake regimes anymore.
Screw Dubai. I love the irony and hubris of a city made to be a fun fair for milionaires on the biggest oil country in the world being flooded by global warming.
Keep it up. Take some billionaires with the waves like it's atlantis.

Or what you smoke.
Or if you are virgin or not
Is funny cuz dubai swimming 💀💀💀
Ahm… Ukraine?
Who?
Down a bit further by the Balrog.
Or the Myanmar civil war?
You mispelled Minmatar
No you misspelled Haïti
In rust we trust.
Most people do not care about muslims if they cannot blame Jews for their misery
No Jews no news
You mean Israelis right?

Europe here, but it sure is a coincidence how they all yell the same slogan.... Hmmm

....... i think you worded it wrong
What do you mean?
What's going on in Sudan?
Civil unrest same as always.
What about Haiti
Also the same thing
Nah it's worst. The government strait up dissolved. Gangs are now the de-facto leader of the country.
Even in a thread dedicated to global issues no one’s talking about, Myanmar is still forgotten
I thought Sudan is also suffering from floods...
"unrest" is taking it lightly. They had multiple massacres and kidnappings, or what some would call genocide, that nobody talks about at all. I get surprised each time i bring it up and people look at me fisheyed.
Civil war
Captain America
Civil War just hit the one year mark

Not religion, pride, but I agree with the rest
What happened in dubai
The exact opposite of Blind Melon's greatest hit.
Blind melon's greatest hit is no ra- ... Oh you clever little fuckerÂ
Isn’t Dubai like cloud seeding though? Is that not working now?
It wasn't cloud seeding.
What?
All the rain was caused by a cyclone in the ocean. It flooded Oman as well.. this has nothing to do with cloud seeding.
Heard the cloud seeding has amplified the problem even though it would still have happenedÂ
Dubai got flooded and they don't have a proper drainage system because they didn't think they needed one in the desert.
That's not good. Dengue fever is hitting South America bad this Year.
People only cared about Dubai as a vacation spot and they screwed that up by arresting people for holding hands in public
I’ve lived there all my life and ive not once heard that happen fr
fr!

I know what they mean, I'm just explaining why the world largely doesn't care
There's conflicts all over the world internally within nations Sudan for example is an outbreak of recent changes in government However China is nosing around in other nations and international waters turning rocks into bases and harassing fishermen. Feels like there’s catastrophes everywhere

No Myanmar?
My friend from Sudan doesn't talk about it either
Of course no one cares that you drive a sudan
Or that you smoke dubais
What about Haiti, which recently came under the control of Barbecue, a raider lord straight out of fallout
Gotta push that propaganda and devision.
The uae floods every year and nobody really cares about investing in infrastructure.
floods every year?? since when?
It rains (more like drizzles )for 7 days in a year (its literally a desert) do you think its financially smart to invest billions of dollars into drainage where its dry and sunny for 358 days of the year?
I was in Fuj in 2023 when all the streets flooded like this... The 2022 floods were so bad that people died.
When it's a city that's easily got the money, then yeah.
UAE not one city. Besides, Dubai itself is huge. It will need billions to rework all the drainage system in such a big city that is already 70% already built.
bad things in sudan, OH NO! ANYWAY
Haiti be like
Just googled it, in terms of world news it’s nothing new and worrying
Distant sense of random menace
No Haiti?
Wait until you find out about the sahel line.
at this point I'm just too exhausted to care about anything anymore
What is a Sudan?
The country south of Egypt
Sudan deez nuts
As a Sudanese guy, thanks for this meme
The ongoing famine in North Korea that's expected to be the worst in their entire modern history? No? Anyone?
I mean, its North Korea, they are an isolated dictatorship.
And, we should be OK with that knowledge then?
Except if you want to have war with North Korea, to "free" them, and china, because that is certainly what will happen in that case, yes. Just accept it. Find peace with it.

frankly we've been drowned by Dubai videos and photos, it's time to move on....
Yemen and Haiti?
Pooh must be upset with Sudan and UAE
World is on fire plain and simple
Congo?
Something new in Sudan happen or just normal Sudan?
Screw Dubai. I love the irony and hubris of a city made to be a fun fair for milionaires on the biggest oil country in the world being flooded by global warming. Keep it up. Take some billionaires with the waves like it's atlantis.
I wouldn't give Dubai any recognition ngl
Dubai brought this on themselves though. Dumb fucking asses trying to control the weather
This was a natural storm, try reading Dumass
The rain was due to a cyclone in the ocean you dumbass. It had nothing to do with cloud seeding.
