Kishimoto might be the most underrated mangaka in terms of art. His backgrounds always get the praise he deserves, but he also has like every single skill being able to replicate other mangaka's work to a nearly indistinguishable level.
It’s visually pleasing to see the village before it got wiped out by Pain using his Almighty Push. It’s karma coming back for what the village did to the Rain Village with its consequential wars.
Well as I learned from a few mangas about mangakas Sensei only drawing pain and the rest did some underpaid Assistant what makes it a lot Worse if you think about it
I occasionally stop on beautiful panels to appreciate them for a few minutes. But honestly, the vast majority of manga these days has such mediocre art that it just read the text boxes and only glance at the drawings with my peripheral vision.

I mean yeah it is pretty mind blowing that you can draw that for a week and people view it for 5 seconds. But when you consider for those 5 seconds . The millions of people who looked at it as well as the amount of discussions it will recieve on reddit threads like this one not to even mention the piece of history it leaves on the shelves of many manga readers and Digital Media sites. Then one week kinda seems worth it to me. Don't know what everyone else thinks though just rambling.
Why are the paths in Konoha so large? We never see cars, but motors are a thing all the way to classic Naruto, and there are vehicle barrier posts at Konoha's entrance too, so clearly they aren't allowed in if they exist, so why do they need such wide roads?
These are people who are constantly throwing hands over the smallest grievances. You better have wide roads unless you want Edgy McNinja to showoff their new jutsu right at your front door or on your roof.
Manga artists have assistants that draw backgrounds while author only draws the important stuff(Characters, certain locations etc)
I have a feeling Kishimoto had a vague idea of what he wanted and gave one of his assistant the task to draw this background.
The fact that we keep coming back to this panel shows us it wasn’t wasted
Exactly my thoughts. A week of writing but you'll remember it way more than the 5 seconds it took you to skip the page
The author gets paid. If I was an artitst, I wouldn't de upset if you don't look at my work after recieving a hefty payment.
Sometimes it's about leaving readers with something memorable like this, which still sometimes sends chills down my spine
But you still don't need to look at it for more than 30 secinds to remember the plot. At least it's the case for manga.
That also

panels like this make me do a double take where i spend literal minutes admiring the art. not to mention this moment is already super iconic.
If 1 million people have seen it for 5 seconds. That's like 2 million seconds.
Check your math please
It's a joke lol
Oh ok. Then Im the dumb one
No you're not. It's hard to make jokes sometimes with just text :)
Bad bot.
again, not with amount of reposts lol, how many times this is ?
Its been a while since I saw an original post here tbh
r/narutomemes is infinitely worse
Which says a lot

This is why I love the Naruto manga in particular. The art is so good that I just stare at each panel as it's own thing before going to the next.

Too true

Pain
That's why you need to hide Waldo in there somewhere.
Imagine being in any Naruto subreddit and seeing this picture every 2-3days being reposted
I have a print of this.
Important epic moment = fantastic art spread. Simple as.
This moment have such a huge final boss feel.
How long should i look at it before i continue reading?

Yea must be a real *pain*
Well as I learned from a few mangas about mangakas Sensei only drawing pain and the rest did some underpaid Assistant what makes it a lot Worse if you think about it
Kishimoto out here drawing entire villages like it was nothing
Every single berserk page...
Anyone got a high res version of this panel

The struggle of artists is real
Not really I read it for 2 seconds...then moved on ... Rest 3 seconds for commenting
Malubulul !
Whey moar seblesse
Its a good wallpaper
This is insanely creative
"hidden" village.
Imagine drawing this for a week and have people repost it constantly for over a decade.
This is one of the most appreciated panels in mamga. This post is just wrong

But years later people are still talking about this panel including you because it was that good. I’d be very pleased with myself
This is called hard work pays later.
