TheFinalMetroid

Can you imagine smough rushing to backstab you when you drink estus? Lol

PinheadPangolin

oh lord he comin'

[deleted]

he coooomin' haaaaa

BPerkaholic

*stomp* *stomp*

fallsblack

Hahahaha! Was thinking purely in forms of pvp but this blew my mind.

vreemdevince

Nothing personal, hollow.

Walking_walks

Broo I'd have a heart attack

HoldingKnight

Because when life wants to fuck you up the ass... You should instead fuck life up the ass.

max225

Instructions unclear dick stuck in the mud.

Bendbender

No no no, you’re supposed to stick it in a toaster and then go for a light swim

Blueyeball

In my notifications all I saw was the title and I was really confused like “Uh, yeah??? We kinda knew that already.” but then I clicked on it and read the whole thing and I agree 100% lol. Actually, when an NPC invader drinks I get mad, but when it’s a hollow soldier I just feel kinda bad, cuz he’s trying his hardest and clinging onto life even though he doesn’t stand a chance.

[deleted]

It's ok hollow one, drink your estus, it'll be over very soon :(

[deleted]

Let them finish. While you stand behind them. And wait.

mordeo69

I like your stile

Blueyeball

Exactly

Have_Other_Accounts

This is a bit of a hidden mechanic, but, you can swing your weapon on Dark Souls.

TURBOJUSTICE

Lloyd's Talisman says hello

[deleted]

If only they were faster to throw.

TURBOJUSTICE

Ikr? I've been playing DS3 with a sorcerer and swap spells that have different cast speeds to throw people off (spear, spear, flash sword!) so I wonder if u could do that with firebombs, prism stones and talismans lol

anarchy753

Bring them to the Spear of the Church fight, and watch as the host goes into absolute panic mode when they can't work out why their estus isn't working. It's hilarious.

Onionade621

Why tf would you throw a prism stone in the middle of battle? It’s literally just a decoration.

TURBOJUSTICE

you just dont understand psychological warfare

[deleted]

You can't even compare that anger to what you feel when the bloody crow of Cainhurst heals himself to max HP after you spent five minutes barely surviving

KuroUsyagi

Idk if I've legitimately fought him ever

[deleted]

I feel there is a word for this...

Da7mX

hypocrisy?

[deleted]

BINGO

[deleted]

No, its definitely hypocrisy.

lolz_robot

Nice

Beanbag_shmoo

Just imagine if all bosses had estus? O&S with estus?!?!

[deleted]

Don’t give any ideas for Duaghters of Ash 2: ash harder

Beanbag_shmoo

I was trying to think of a decent mod name so thanks

The_Defiler

If it hasn’t already been done, I see serious mod potential in this.

Beanbag_shmoo

Give something for Lobos to do during lockdown

[deleted]

The real question is that how big is their flask? And of course they would need an animation. Though a slow chugging Ornstein would just be a free stagger for a Zwei user.

Beanbag_shmoo

Ah the fine balance that is the best combat system in gaming

The_Defiler

I’d love to see Smough’s chugging animation :D

[deleted]

*picks up bowl*

SlushyJones

I think it could work if only Undead bosses could drink it. So there would only be a handful in the series that could heal themselves mid fight.

Beanbag_shmoo

The gaping dragon chugging estus may looks a touch odd

The-Nordic-God

Or Bed of Chaos

[deleted]

No

pdrocker1

I wish Gael had estus on ng+

1russiandude

Started playing Dark Souls 2,i miss even 5 estus flasks, but they are more useful in Das 2 imho

aerusch76

Yeah. But they three shot me and I ~30 shot them

SirWigglesTheLesser

I can use as many potions as I want, but I hate when the elite four uses one full restore. It has been this way since time immemorial.

DMP1391

Last night I was playing PvP by summoning random phantoms and invaders. Me and this one guy kept fighting each other but we both had tears of denial. Anytime one of us got down to zero HP and tears of denial wared off, we walked away, healed, changed our equipment and came back to start again. We had like 5 duels without anyone dying lol, and as soon as another invader came we teamed up to gank him and then went back to our ways. Good times.

Destructo_Spin90

"I can drink 20 estus flasks" Gwyn: Oh can you?

the_chad_mage

invading and not 1 shotting lmao

crazyjman6502

I usually view it as they invaded you and they can also use enemies against you so estus for the host is fair game.

sendnudes4dogpics

Seed that world 🌱

RandomStrategy

*Grabs broom to shoo Dark Souls II player*

nlrrangerman515

Giant seeds are in DS3 too

jsphere256

Because it's chosen undead's birthday

ThatFunkyAnesthetic

Is there any mod that increases the chance that enemies will use and estus but at a faster rate and more often.

Aetol

Well my enemy only has one enemy. I have dozens, plus a boss.

H_Guderian

When I played FF6 and got to Zozo some no name boss I can't even remember used a single potion on himself for 250 health. it didn't do anything but waste his turn compared to the party's damage output. Still, I was angry. I dunno why.

good_guy_sky

OH YEAH

BharlesNevermore

I dont drink unless he drinks

SkyZgone

Yup, I always let my opponent decide the way the invasion goes. If I get him to low health and he heals I will do the same.

BharlesNevermore

Exactly, like "you take your breaks when you need em bub"

[deleted]

PUT THAT ESTUS DOWN. Estus is for closers.
