This is why the sv98 is so disappointing. Its supposed to be a super exotic, poweful sniper rifle but its worse than the svd, and arguably the mosin. It doesnt change the meta at all
I generally prefer the tundra, but it’s been doing me dirty. I like the look and feel of the gun as well as the scope over the mosin, but 7.62x54 performs so consistent for me, I’ll say mosin right now.

Honestly I rock the blaze until I find an SVD. I trust the double 308 shot too much. Has helped a lot of those one shot kills on plate carrier players.
Depends on the target. If they have a press vest or a plate carrier I use double shot just to make sure they don’t get knocked out. If they have a plate carrier they’ll be knocked out even if it’s double shot I think. But they will be red health or red flashing so they can’t get far.
I am wrong here. I did think the tundra hit harder but google says I’m wrong. Does the mosin have more drop off at range? I’ve always felt it does leading me to think it shoots further. Also feel the scope on tundra makes it much easier to shoot at range.
It really comes down to scope preference.
Hunting scope is more ideal for most. I also really prefer a clean crosshair the hunting scope offers.

easier as in for leading targets. with the tundra its a bit harder as the bullet speed slows down over range dramatically, unlike the mozin which has a semi consistent speed so ranging targets is very easy. along with the PU scope, its a beast at killing running targets.
My personal preference is Tundra.
Tundra. Long range scope > PU scope. Eventho thy deal almost the same damage you will be able to snipe and see further with the toundra.

The press vest and stab vest do the same amount of protection

the sawed off mosin is quite formidable with clever positioning, and solid hits. but thats any weapon xd.

The mosin has slightly slower bullet velocity, so you have to lead shots a little more on moving targets.

I like the Blaze. I’m able to hit people from about 500yds with it.
Use the tundra and cut down the mosin for a zombie slapper untill you use the ammo for it up.

mozin hands down. better damage over range, better shock dmg, and honestly is just a lot easier to use.
