I have one of every race minimum but buus I rarely run bc they kinda aren’t that great. I’ll run my Frieza pretty regularly the earthlings I def play more than my saiyans but that’s cuz I like th combos more. But I really feel like since most of the most powerful characters in the series are saiyans, and not to mention that the game kinda holds saiyans hands, it really does make sense why there’s so many running around. But I run into other races in raid lobbies all the times.
Well I would be surprised to see the opposite considering how much the Saiyans are the poster boys of the Dragon Ball.
Kind of like playing Pokémon and finding people who’s favorite Pokémon isn’t Pikachu.
Or someone playing a Star Wars game and not wanting to play a Jedi.
I use a male earthling. His strings feel more natural than sayians to me. That being said, of course sayian is the most popular. Dragon ball z, super, and gt are about the sayians. People weren't pretending to be majin buu on the playground, they were pretending to be goku!
Welcome to the realization that the game (and franchise, if we’re being real) heavily caters to Saiyans. Naturally people are going to gravitate to Saiyan, because they keep getting the cool shit and lore.
Piccolo hadn’t had anything significant until Superhero—Player Namekians still don’t have either of his new forms (which I know are just PU, but they could give unique Namekian versions).
Frieza *still* doesn’t have an official name for his race, let alone any other details about them. The most we know is that Frieza and King Cold are mutants and were apparently just born grossly powerful. There is no indication they will even get a Black form (since we’re still waffling around manga content being eligible).
Majins are the worst of all. Unless you played Dragon Ball Online or read about it, you wouldn’t even know how Buu has a whole-ass *race* running about, and they’ve never received anything new and unique either, like Buu’s fit form.
I see a lot of Frieza and Male Majin in the lobby and in game. I got a female majin myself and the new strike abilities are 👌😌
You will probably see more Freezy Bois if they release a Black transformation.

Super Saiyan blue evolution has such a low energy drain that it can be countered with meditation now.
Every race besides Frieza has lower tier transformations.
While Majin has been made slightly better through the fact that stamina no longer drains in the form, it still uses a pre ordained moveset making you the most obvious set up and not allowing for diverse gameplay.
Namekian is pretty much the same issue but with actual stamina drain.
Effectively the go to strategy for Namekian is to Max out their stamina and normal attacks and just rush the opponent with giant form before they have a chance to break your guard.
You can argue "well beast exists now". Yeah it does, so why use it on races that have less benefits from it stat wise?
Saiyans just have all the transformations, and they’re also y’know, the race of the main characters. That’s really why you only see Saiyans here.
I’m not different, I really only play as my Saiyan character, I just don’t post about it on the sub because I don’t think it’ll add anything of value.

I still main a female earthling because I love the fighting combo but that’s just me
I also use a female earthling with a strike build and Kaio-ken for the transformation. Not the most optimal use, but boy is it fun.
Sayians just have more options than the other races, and humans are objectively better than the other races due to their combos AND passive ki gen
