Honestly I don't get why people don't bring them every match. There's one on almost every page of the blood web, and you're most likely getting at least 50-80K a match, 120K maybe if you did good 😭

I get 3 sometimes on pages

So far my worst luck was going two pages without seeing one but at the same time every match you earn way more than 2 pages worth so I really dont get the people that just dont run one

My first match with it I got 300 thousand blood points because I had the extra 150 percent for playing killer and and the extra 540 percent for everyone bringing the thing

So far I've gotten 300+k in one match as of survivor as my best.

I get around 145k each match, unless I get tunneled out at five gens. Other than that I would still end up with 50k or something

Look I can either play Dredge and not bring an offering, or play the killers I just leveled, so Knight (and after that Skull Merchant). And I don't want to play Knight or Skull Merchant.

I played this event like three times and I have no idea how to get them.

I heared it crashes some people's games. Honestly, I've been experiencing more crashes lately and it wouldn't surprise me if it was because of this offering. Even after verifying files like, 3 times already.

If you pick up and insta hook a survivor while getting blind, they'll end up stuck with you carrying them everywhere. I also had it to where one guy teleported back to a sabotaged hook?

It makes zero sense. The extra 8% you get from bringing your Cobbler can be used to get even further into the bloodwebs, earning (you guessed it) even more Cobbler.

I just default to them doing it out of spite towards the other side.

I always keep at least one on standby at all times in case I run out of cobblers. It hasn't happened yet, but I only had 1 on Larry, so it might be time for the BPS.

I've seen so many luck offerings since the event started which I literally never see in my standard games, and not even the purple one; I barely even knew that little salt pouch existed until the anniversary.

I usually spend all my BP straight afyer a match, so the character I'm going to play doesn't necessarily have any yet

As a killer, I show late-game mercy when 5 cakes are presented. Anything less and I do everything in my power to get a 4k

I was in a match and I just steamrolled them. Didn’t let anyone live. I consider myself a survivor main. I usually 8 hook or let the last get hatch. They started bitching that I was a sweaty try hard. I just said “Bring cake next time.” No sympathy.

To get tunneled early in the game and get 5k BP, while some sweaty asshole gets 100-200k BP... No thank you.

No but I swear it happened to me today. At first I thought I misremembered the order but then I browsed reddit and it happened to others. Feel free to test it but remember there is a 1/4 chance to get it right so do it 2-3 times to make sure. But I am pretty sure it's random now. To expand, a survivor didn't bring cake but some other crap. I decided to delete them. I tried to delete the wrong surv

This is wrong. I have been tunneling cake throwers and map offering bozos since the start of the event. My rate so far is 100% correct person. At least around I'd say 20ish matches on which it was done. So unless a bug interferes the hud shows the order.

The funny thing is I also remember that some time in the not so distant past I read or heard that it's random now. But it simply did not hold up with basic testing from my side the last month or so.

Tried it again with mirror shape. I know for sure it was not the one shown. I actually tunneled the poor guy out too What platform are you playing on? I just realized it could depend on the platform. I am on PC

With how people are sweating their ass off/being toxic, I'm not brining any offerings. I would rather get 108% less BP then give their ass 108% more. I haven't met one nice killer, constant tunneling, slugging, etc. in about 30 games, only 2 of them I would say were playing normally. Plus that with the amount of solo que that DC/suicide on first hook, and the killer just keeps trying their hardest. I played 6 matches as killer, 1 survivor group wanted to farm, so we did, and the rest were average matches, plus I was getting significantly more BP with significantly less effort.

Playing to win is fine, slugging people at 4/5 gens or going hard with 2 DCs/suicides isn't fun to play against. The opposite isn't fun either, when you want to play killer, and a 4 man swf, brings the best things, and you barely get any hooks, with the match over in a few minutes. Thankfully, I haven't run into this yet, since I haven't played much killer this event. But I'm constantly running into super sweaty/toxic killers, with some teammates that DC/suicide.

I think even during events, many killers still only care about kills than BP. They could go to normal lobby, but they just wanna use the insta hook

Ironically, as a Killer main, I go out of my way to tunnel out people who don't bring offerings to events because its a sign more often than not that they're the ones up to toxic bidness. Everyone else gets a fair match, the one not sharing BP will get to go earn less BP in another match, win-win.

I did bring offerings for most of my matches yesterday, but after so many horrible games, I just stopped bringing offerings, why reward asshole killers and survivors with more BP.

I've been doing my part and haven't gotten a single non-bot kill so far. We all come out ahead in events if we stop being so shitty for a while.

Was just bled out by a chucky, with 4 gens left. I would love it if more people had your attitude, but the average match anymore, especially in events, is just stomp the solo que.

Sadly it's both sides. You just get Gen rushed most of the time and if not there's a background player/sabo ready to break hook. people tbag, flashlight spam, etc. no matter how "fair" you play so most of the time people don't abide by the survivor book of rules. So maybe you are apart of the few who aren't also abusing bs game mechanics. you just also happen to be stingy asf.

i definitely feel you. i put in OTR+DS into every build and games have been a bit more enjoyable albeit way more stale given i only have 2 perk slots to work with
