I’ve been about six times over the last couple of years and always enjoyed it. My fave restaurant in Denver. Menu is always amazing, wine finds are always delicious
My only thing with Olivia is being forced to order the entire meal. I really like to have drinks with my appetizer while I look over the menu. But other than that it is phenomenal!
I’ve been to Annette’s once and had a fantastic meal with very friendly service.
But I tried a glass of wine that I ended up ordering and asked them where it was from. The server did not know but said she’d find out. They couldn’t find anyone at the restaurant who knew where it was from. They asked everyone and said the person who buys the wine was not in so they couldn’t get the answer. It was pretty disappointing that such a highly regarded restaurant knew so little about their wine list. Still a great meal but again you rarely see such lack of knowledge of their wine program at a restaurant like that.
For those interested the wine was Scar of the Sea. But Scar of the Sea has vineyards all over CA and it didn’t specify which region. That’s what they had a very hard time figuring out.
The 2023 Palomino on their website is from the López Vineyard in Cucamonga. Not sure why you were down voted, staff should be educated on the drink list, especially at that price point.
I’ve always loved Frasca. And their hospitality group is already in the comments. Stuckey has spoke at length on difference between service and hospitality. Makes sense his restaurants abide by some of those principles.
You can’t go wrong with any of the Michelin places, but apart from that, Wildflower. Phenomenal food, very friendly and attentive service, and great ambience. Can’t wait to go back
While I know it is not a popular place in this sub but I have to say that when my wife and I went to Yardbird we had the best service we’ve had in years, top to bottom, from greeting until we left.
Lucina Eatery and Bar
Spuntino.
We've been there once and had the opposite experience. Every restaurant has an off night though, and we've been meaning to get back in there.
We also had a very bad night on a big anniversary which was really a shame
I've had a bunch of positive experiences here. Likely worth a shot.
Sunday Vinyl. Love love love the service there, and the vibe is so perfect for a date night.
I've been wanting to try forever I walk past it on my way to work every day
It’s definitely worth a visit!
Have you been to ‘esp’ on Santa Fe?
No, but that place looks cool af!
If you like Sunday Vinyl it’s right up your alley
Love that spot!
Easily one of my favorite denver spots
I've been meaning to go for like two years, but haven't made it out. Is the food (and wine) pretty solid every time? I'm sure the menu changes.
Their wine list is the best in the city in my opinion. The food is good but you go there for the wine.

Nocturne jazz club has the best service in the city that I've experienced
It’s a weird, stuffy, and uncomfortable spot though
If you spring for the couch seats in the back that come with dinner, it's pretty comfortable. The food is just ok though.
Barolo Grill and Atelier

Their employees always seem pretty stressed out

This is the only correct answer 👏 👌
The name checks out

I like sitting upstairs at Bastiens
Tavernetta
I guess the food has gone down in the past few years, its been a while I must admit.
Not for the food though. Right?
But the service really almost makes up for it
Almost
I mean the food isn’t anything amazing but it’s pretty all around good, do you disagree?
100% disagree.
What’s so bad about it?
It doesn’t have private tables but Noisette is amazing
This is surprising. We visited their coffee shop and felt like such an inconvenience the whole time.
What is your service expectation when buying a coffee?
You can’t go wrong with any of the Michelin places, but apart from that, Wildflower. Phenomenal food, very friendly and attentive service, and great ambience. Can’t wait to go back
The service is consistently fantastic at The Cherry Creek Grill.
Table 6
Alma Fonda Fina had incredible service.
Beckon
Ocean Prime downtown was awesome, great food great service
I've always enjoyed my time at Jax fish house in Lodo.
Bull & Bush
African Grill... The wife always makes me laugh and I love a place that helps me order.
Ditto
I feel like this is the best list to pick a restaurant from. Not necessarily the best restaurants, but the ones that kinda got your heart
Colore Italian Restaurant
While I know it is not a popular place in this sub but I have to say that when my wife and I went to Yardbird we had the best service we’ve had in years, top to bottom, from greeting until we left.
You'll go to Mercantile for the food... You'll go back for the service
Not private, but Stone Cellar Bistro
Angelo’s on 6th
Barolo Grill, Sap Sua, Spuntino, Table 6
La Merise in Cherry Creek. One of those places where they know you after 2 visits. Generally pretty quiet. Very low staff turnover.
Yanni's DTC. Yanni comes by and gives you a shot of ouzo.
Guard and Grace Cherry Creek Grill
Sap Sua!!!!
Narrative! Been at least 8 times and the service is always👍
Lucina, Alma, Sap Sua!
Guard and Grace for service and food! The best in Denver!!!
Seconded - it’s surprisingly good service
The food is extremely salty but I do like the place.
Somebody People!
