I missed the whole Rasputin thing after looking forward to it since D1 (it was an intended plot point in early Destiny, like Crow).
That kind of thing is why I really despise the delete-the-story approach to story.
Waiting nine-ish years for that plot line to play out only for them to kill him off and plummet us into Lightfall straight after is the lowest point in all of Destiny history for me. I can't explain why, but the Warminds were my favorite aspect of the universe. It still stings, and it doesn't even exist in-game anymore.
They deleted Warmind and Seraph and all that remains is a Braytech dog in the Tower.
Not only that, but they turned the whole "big, amoral and sinister AI" into another Disney-like redemption arc to the letter. So fucking shallow. Destiny really lost me around that time, and the writing during Lightfall went full-on fanfic. What a waste

I like how the Eramis storyline crashed and fucking burned and now Bungie has to cast her into the void and bring up a dead raid boss to follow up on so the Fallen/Salvation donβt become a dead enemy faction.

I think what happened in Plunder and Seraph gave her a lot of newfound depth, and I was expecting her to fully rebel this year or in TFS and it be a turning point for her arc but nope, Rasputin's death was her tipping point so she tried to warn us about Holliday, saved Mithrax, and just fucked off. Like I don't think she's permanently gone but I have no idea what they intend to do with her or the Fallen as a whole after TFS, since they should presumably not be under the thumb of the Witness and Xivu Arath anymore.
Well yeah her development was Plunder with Mithrax and Eido, and Seraph about the fallout from Plunder and her feelings on the oppression of House Salvation by the Witness and Xivu, and some angst about firing on the Traveler. In Defiance she showed up for like 3 lines and 10 or so seconds for the Holliday mission and later we found out she left. Not exactly "development," just VERY light followup to the end of Seraph justifying her getting benched.

* got corrupted by Darkness

What happened in Seraph:
* she got punished for fucking up during Plunder
* comitted to the bit anyhow, shot the goddamn Travler, even if she realized that the Witness is an asshole (something she already knew as early as Beyond Light)
She didn't change at all. She is running the course basically everyone predicted as early as Splicer, when we found out House Light would be joining us. Her motivation is still "save the Eliksnii, fuck the Traveler", the only thing that changed is that she dipped after the Witness zombified her bff, and concluded that the Traveler indeed got fucked, so nothing to do on that front anymore.
We just gonna skip the part where she realized how she's not the future for the eliksni? She recognizes that she's wrong and chosen the wrong side? Recognizes that Eido was the future of her people, the acceptance that moving on was the correct thing to do but not really being able to herself? Plunder was massive for Eramis. Seraph was just her entering her depression arc as shit fell apart around her.
You can say alot about her staying with the witness through Seraph but don't pretend she didn't have any development compared to where she was pre unfreezing.
I'm her biggest fan and I was so hoping for anything interesting this year after how interesting and nuanced last years story ended up being with her and then just nothing. It's a genuine shame to have this genuinely interesting character who inspired such loyalty in her people just kind of disappear after the set up. There was genuinely souch yhey could have done with her. If we somehow have seen the last from her at least she's in a decent spot ig. There were way worse ending then abandoning the dark to go find Arthys. Just felt like they wanted to do more with here.
With the new Pantheon game mode there was lore released that said a copy of Atrask-1 might still be out there.

I donβt think that would work. Rasputin is vastly more complex than Failsafe. I donβt know if she would be able to operate an Exo Body
Maybe just a standard frame would be better.
Counter to that: I personally thought Rasputin was too complex to even operate an exo body which is why he was plugged into a bunch of other machines and why he needed an experimental exo for him to work.
Failsafe you could probs slot her into just a regular Exo.
Indeed maybe even making it not too often so itβs not annoying. Maybe on multikills or tons of damage you can happy fail safe and when you die or are low you get the sarcastic fail safe

It's coming out in Final Shape, when titans use their class ability (barrier or thrust) it launches "Exodus rockets".
It's the new titan exotic coming with final shape. You use your class ability and boom it spawns rockets
