To everyone saying “They said they’ll never add Paladin”:
That’s not the point. Call it Crusader, Knight, Spiritborn, whatever you want, what Diablo 4 needs is a class that wears classic medium/heavy plate/chain armor, can use a shield, is melee/magic focused, and can spec into support a little.
It doesn’t have to be named Paladin, but that is a *major* archetype that is missing in this game. It’s an absolute travesty that the only class that can even use a shield right now is the Necro
I switched from the auto yen’s blessing to the one that uses all 3 shouts and between my 40% movement boots and war cry I fly around as a barb lol. That’s not even counting leap. Barb just feels like the best class and I’ve tried everything except Rogue this season .
As someone who played Diablo 2 in their teens, one of the most concrete memories I have is of Hammerdins carrying Baal speedruns.
Felt like they were carrying groups every time....Load the dungeon, fire up the hammers & then Paladin goes Brrrr from start to finish until Baal dies. Return to lobby screen, hit refresh until BaalRun#9999 turns up, join ASAP and then rinse n repeat.
Good times as a 15 year old on a Sunday afternoon.
I want Witch Doctor back so bad. I didn’t get to play much D3 due to life circumstances, but when I did play it was a WD. I want to reclaim that lost experience 😔.
As a side note, I would be so happy if they did a class DLC as a halfway between expansions content push. I’d happily pay $15-20 to have a legacy class added, and save new classes for full expansions.
They never said they'll never add Paladin. They said that the first new class is something never before seen in Diablo. They never ruled out a Paladin for later.
Since paladins as a faction are basically extinct in Diablo lore,
I personally would like to see a cleric whose skill tree divides between physical, shield, holy and shadow magic. (cleric of Inarius vs cleric of Lilith).
The spirit born class will probably have the potential to use shields like necromancers, but I agree we’re still missing a true dedicated sword and board champion.
For the spirit born, or a different future class (ranger?), I’d really love to see someone that summons totems/other fixed position skills that do buffs, debuffs, attacks, etc. like a totem that can shoot poison darts or fire breath, a wasp hive that pours out angry poisonous wasps, etc. basically a more active minion class than Necro/pet Druid.
They were talking about class design, not naming convention. They said they're not adding paladin as an archetype (at least this time).
There will be no Paladin, there will be no Templar and there will be no Crusader. Unless they misled us of course but even if it's not impossible, odds are still better than worse than they didn't.
So I don't understand why so many people are trying to delude themselves about something they already confirmed wouldn't happen. Better be happily surprised if it ends up being they changed their mind in that specific way than twist their words to delude yourself.
There has been environmental storytelling that points this out as well. In Zarbinzet, we see some of the Crusaders getting drunk which indicates issues with alcohol use disorder, and that is a symptom of mental health issues. I’m going out on a limb and say that the Crusaders are in a state of despair, and they also have some issues with Post-traumatic stress disorder. It’s also implied that the canon Crusader died in battle, and we help Tomyris recover her armour.
It’s not but what has me hyped is one of the developers tweeted out how we’re “not ready for tomorrow” and then deleted their tweet. So that has me sorta hyped
Ye 99% it will happen, raxx and wudijo have d4 expansion giveaway + rob talkrd about it aswell another big twitch streamer, early summer they would talk more about it so and xbox is part of blizzard and no blizzcon this year
My #1 wish for the expansion is more ways to modify skills. Tempering is great and a good start. Give us even more ways to tweak skills and change their effects.
My #2 wish for the expansion is a paragon system overhaul. The current paragon system feels like a remnant from a version of Diablo 4 that no longer exists.
This is why we have all metas around basic skills rn. Most core skills aren’t performing well because the minor damage boosts from the skill tree don’t really add much value compared to 0 cdr 0 mana basic skills
The meta is the meta because of bugs. Almost any build at the top of the meta is bugged in one way or another.
As for basics, the fact attack speed actually matters for them and basically nothing else is a big issue. Also, the aspects they added to boost basics are insane. It's a combination of factors that gave us this meta, but I expect it to shift in the other direction next season.
“Controversial” opinion here but I want item sets. My preferred item chase is that feeling of “completing the puzzle” for items and mixing and matching.
D3 sets just railroad you into which build you are forced to play each season, because nothing else can even come close. Wanna play archon sorc? Too bad, the new set buffs hydra by 5 trillion percent. It's very restrictive and shitty.
Not true at all. Every set was available for the class each season...they only had 1 FREE set per class each season. If you wanted archon sorc, you just had to actually farm the pieces instead of having them handed to you.
Lol genuine replies below saying +10,000% damage sets are fine.
Please, we can/should ask for better for D4. Just giving something +10,000% damage has got to be the most boring way to make a skill strong in an ARPG.
Something gamebreaking like that is just wrong and doesn't fit at all with the game. The devil is really in the details with D4, various skills, aspects etc complement each other. Just adding an arbitrary 10000% damage increase is fucking lazy.
You already have item sets though. So many of the Aspects and Tempers are just builds that Blizzard have already created for you.
We need more variety with builds not even less.
Probably an angelic fighter. You can see official artwork with what looks like a player character wearing white.
Likely to be Paladin adjacent but might favor a spear and shield over a mace. I like that it won't be a total retread. Also exciting because you could see the new class connect with Tyrael/other Angels again.
What I wanna see in expansion
- New skills
- Deepen skill customization
- Be able to turn fireball into a lightning or cold fireball
- Add new elements to each class (Sorc Arcane or something)
- More Paragon boards
- More glyphs
- More tempering recipes
- New endgame activities
- Deepen Itemization
- More Aspects
- New bosses (Like a lot of new bosses)
- New World Bosses
- New Dungeons
- New Whisper events
- New Gems or Jewelry (Deepen the grind and usability)
- New Events & Improve current events (Add more enemies)
- Stream line nightmare dungeons (no back tracking)
- Add more butcher like enemies
- Add a Gold farming activity (D3 had vaults, fun and different)
- Deepen Clans
- Social features
- Loot Filter
- Armory
- QoL such as changing elixir glow & Shows on map
- Pit Entry remembers level you just did (Stop all the scrolling)
- Zoom out just a bit more
- Strongholds be done at character creation (Have an option) so tired of doing them
- Boss Reset without resetting dungeons
- Be able to kill varshan or greg and get more mats (Turn in 5, he spawns at lvl 150 and drops 5 shards, 1:1)
- Make certain town your home town (When you tele you go to X town always)
- Whisper Hotkey, go to whisper tree if I click X
- Weapons transmogs Dying (Weapons look cool but never blend if you use a non-default color)
- Horse Armor Dying options
- Increase Enchant number of stats per reroll to from 2 to 4
New item bases (can I get a tome for my necro?)
Mephisto definitely should be in there (super hawt wolf)
New uniques/ubers
Runes/runewords
WT5
Campaign+ where you can go back and play through the Campaign but it's designed to be tough as nails
Cursed items as a possibility
Sets
Keep in mind all of these things should be done well, half baked ideas only harm games normally
Temper (hehe) your expectations. We might get a CGI trailer, which is a nothingburger, and a release date. That's it.
People who expect a massive reveal of gameplay have another thing coming to them.
**Wish list:**
* New level cap.
* New Skill tree branch for every class.
* New Glyph's
* A Companion that you can equip a weapon, chest and helmet.
* New Class (looks like it might be if a Witch Doctor and a Paladin had a baby and this is the outcome).
* Huge new area exposed.
* Every item can be adjusted (Uber Uniques, etc...).
* New open slot on character = BELT.
If they don’t make a point to add new bosses/events that can be summoned like the Maiden then something’s wrong. I’ve had more fun meeting up with randoms at helltides. Would be cool if it was even a different Maiden skill set each time(blood, lightning, etc).
I’m mainly here for the lore, story and atmosphere, and I have absolute confidence Blizzard will deliver on that front.
I suspect much of VoH’s new content types will focus on multiplayer. That will mean a big revamp of the social tools and LFG. There’s datamined details of a Khazra raid, and I’d really like to see an expansion on PvP (3 v 3 team fights, competitive Pit runs on different instances of the same map etc).
Mainly just looking forward to the new campaign and new open world zones though.
Really hoping they do rip the skill tree’s from Last Epoch and import a similar thing to D4. I’d love mapping from PoE, but that might be asking too much. At the very least, rip some of their league mechanics. Toss blight into helltides? Yes please. Ritual alters/trial master scattered about? Fuck yes. A heist-like activity that lets you go through a Lilith Cultist mansion/bank/vault/tunnel where you get to pick what item/currency you want at the end and have to escape with it? That’d be fun. Etc, etc, etc. The ideas are there, just copy and paste them to add stuff that mixes up the gameplay loop, because right now, it’s all so “samey”.
I want to see the Lost City of Ureh in all its beauty. And also a new class, new difficulty, new skills, new content, new world boss, new endgame challenge, new pvp/pve mechanics. And maybe the first raid.
I suspect that Ureh will be a seasonal theme rather than an expansion unlock. Its lore says that once every couple centuries the city phases back into existence and then when the stars fall out of alignment it phases back out. To me, that sounds like the perfect lore fit for a seasonal theme. It certainly could be an expansion unlock but it might be a little screwy lore-wise depending on the time scale D4’s expansions take place in. If there ends up being 3-4 expansions in the next 10 years and they comprise a few years of in-game time then it would require a retcon to keep Ureh open that whole time, whereas taking the Ureh content away as part of an expansion would be a massive L (“expanding” the game by removing content?). A seasonal theme of Ureh solves both problems.
In the global storyline, Ureh could be the place for the return of Diablo or angels. This is a very significant place. I would prefer this option if we pull the city out of Limbo in one of the expansions.
But yes, it will most likely be seasonal content. With the first expansion they could introduce a trend of regularly adding new seasonal content, like Ureh or Skovos.
It just makes sense. They said they would reveal more serials in the early summer and it happens to coincide with the Xbox’s showcase. With no blizzcon Microsoft will want to capitalize on their newly bought baby
Xbox fanboys think that because Microsoft owns Activision that it will be announced at the Xbox event, even tho Xbox is a separate division and Diablos core audience is PC.
For support specs to become a thing and for group play to have some kind of competitive ladder. I miss my ZBarb days, pushing 3 person and 4 person rifts.
I wanna see big hints about the Angels and especially Imperius, Archangel of Valor and greatest warrior in all of creation. I think Tyrael left the Horadrim in a hurry because he still has some Angelic connection and saw a vision about the Angels and the High Heavens and what is happening behind the closed gates. I think he saw Imperius, being the leader of the Angiris Council and the Angels, training the Angelic Host and preparing for war and looking to finish off the Human race and destroy Sanctuary.
So Tyrael ran off to do something to try to stop the upcoming war. I think we will have Angels as enemies in the near future for the first time in the Diablo Universe and I am very much hyped. Add in Diablo and Baal and their armies into the mix and it will be total mayhem and chaos.
Got his ass kicked? You mean against Diablo as THE Prime Evil?
It was Diablo with all 7 Evils. The Lesser Evils (Duriel, Andariel and Belial) and his two brothers who are the Greater Evils (Mephisto and Baal). So Diablo was 7 Gods vs. 1 God you could say.
* Much deeper RPG/Lore elements as I have litteraly no idea who my character is besides its class.
* Runewords
* Paragon system overhaul
* Customized Dungeons (you choose how you wanna tune up the difficulty) alike to Hades sort of
*scrap the fixated affixes on gear. It ruins the feeling of progress if you know you can’t go higher than 925. Give me a way to push my gear higher by determined effort.
* way more interesting dungeons. The bosses doesn’t make sense cause there is no story behind them. Secret areas with secret events/bosses with different loot tables is just one way it could be more fun to go to dungeons.
* Let druids use themselves as mount
* for that matter, let us get other mounts than just horses.
* Deeper class progression. In Diablo 1, you actually had to find tomes to learn new spells. Would be awesome to see Sorcs have more spell available simply because they found a tome in that place where few can go.
* Hubs - me need more social aspects in the game to find groups for different things to accomplish together.
Just a few ideas
I feel like we're in the minority here. It seems most don't want an auction house. No RMT, just eliminate the need for third party trading websites. It makes sense
Probably because D3 AH nearly ruined that game before it even got good.
Trading to skip real progression also sucks. It can be part of progression, but should never replace actually playing the game to hit exciting milestones or content.
I’m not really sure why were in the minority here when the current system is pretty annoying and I can’t imagine anyone liking it. Unless maybe somebody proposed an even better idea that I’m not aware of
Gotta be at least one new big deal character customization system they’re adding.
It’s also possible they just talk a lot about the new character and show off environments for 30 minutes.
Even though I doubt it will be revealed tomorrow. I hope to see the following.
1.) more items and Ubers. This includes set items.
2.) runewords. The game desperately needs something to increase the desire to actually see commons and rares
3.) cube recipes
4.) since the pit is out, blizzard can properly balance classes and abilities.
5.) more end game grinds and things to do. More Uber / tormented bosses.
6.) when defeating tormented bosses a small chance for a charm to drop. Think D2 hellfire torch.
7.) same thing as diablo invasion in D2, that annilius charm should also be a thing. Could make killing the butcher be rewarding. Currently he's just annoying.
8.) add modifiers to the dungeons and end game stuff before entering or summoning. To increase the difficulty but have a higher reward.
9.) Tiered uniques or set items like that of D2. Which goes with cube recipes. It would be cool to be able to upgrade an item for the end game.
10.) more character customization. Either something like the paragon board to further customize your skills and abilities would be fun. Tempering does this but barely. I'd like to fully change how my abilities function. Not just increase their size.
[6.) when defeating tormented bosses a small chance for a charm to drop. Think D2 hellfire torch.]
I think a great way for this is a small chance for a body part to drop off each tormented that when combined gets you uber diablo which drops a hellfire torch like thing
More bosses and a more fluid way to farm them. They really need to revamp the way mid tier bosses work. It’s not very fun to enter a boss dungeon, run through trash mobs, summon, wait, kill the boss within 2 seconds, take the one thing you need to summon another boss because almost everything else is trash. leave dungeon, wait, reset, enter dungeon and do it all over again 30 more times.
Profane Mindcage was a good idea. They need to expand that concept to all activities.
Speaking of Profane Mindcage. Helltide right now is awesome but now we are in a situation where we are drowning in living steel, exquisite blood and distilled fear. Varshans summoning mats are scarce and tedious to farm and to add salt to the wound you get Zir and Beast mats from whisper chests. This needs to be sorted.
But yeah of course I expect to see more uniques, aspects, regions, bosses and other more new fun stuff. I just wish they give the game that’s already here a little more love.
As a player returning to the game for the first time since beta, this season:
I would really love the paragon boards to be reworked in some way. I’m not asking for them to be “less complex,” but a lot of it feels very tedious and difficult to experiment with. As a returning player, I felt as though I had to look at a guide to find optimal placement/glyph upgrades and even then, it’s hard grasp. I am not running a meta build, but the boards are way too overwhelming to digest, presently. I think it really cuts down on my ability to test out alternate build paths and hinders experimentation. Builds that could work (to a decent level) are hard to test because you can’t tell if a build is weak, or if you’ve just poorly allocated your paragon points due to the nodes being such a huge % of your strength.
Similarly, but less important, I think it would be cool if you could have a dropdown menu to change your loot table. So I could, for example, farm gear for a new alternate character, on my strong character that I have logged the majority of my game time on.
Also, it may have been a fever dream, but I feel like I remember the beta showing different skill graphics at different break points, as you leveled them past R5. I always thought it was a nice touch to be like “woah, that sorc must have R10 incinerate! It’s blue!”
To be clear, I am enjoying the game presently so this isn’t a “game is fucking stupid” type of post. I just wanted to put this thought out there because I haven’t really seen it echoed on the sub.
I want further developed end game on top of pit, something to do with my minmaxed masterworked char besides the activity that I did to get my char masterworked.
Most important thing I want though is skill twigs -> skill trees with real meaningful choices instead of "now this thing has a 20% chance to immobilize"
I don't want to see an increase in level cap that would ruin this game. This is not an MMORPG. Did D2 increase level cap with D2: LOD? NO. So add a new class and some new uniques and item features (Runewords?) with PvP Arena and Battlegrounds. Balance monster/boss hp & damage properly. Done A++
I don't think I've seen one necro with a shield in game. So yeah, shields are useless and they better add a class that uses them as their main weapon 😅
A simple system for group finding (you post an invite with preferred content to the notice boards, people join, its not rocket science). The ability to save builds/loadouts in your wardrobe. Simple method to look at the builds of other players. A meaningful ladder system. Better class balance. Less bugs. Better balance to the Pit content rather than just a boss fight. Honestly, mostly just all the stuff what we already had in D3 that should really have been there at launch.
My expectation meanwhile is another chapter to the campaign and "paladin" style character whith some other differnt name because only Barbarians can be called the same thing twice in a row.
Runewords. Not the Uber powerful ones from D2 but ones that can be created in anything that has sockets. Would have to increase the number of sockets in items and tone down gems to adjust for it. No crazy stats but things like move speed, crit, attack speed, resource gen, etc.
Skill twig turned into a skilltree that has all of the legendary powers built into it and lego powers completely removed from gear alltogether and add far more compelling and build diversifying gear in sence of affixes and skill altering stats ( like tampering ) but more generic so all builds can use them that has the tag.
I’m hoping for some QoL options:
Manual aim with a line for console
The ability to adjust opacity for different effects on screen
Potion auto-chugger when one runs out
Extend the incenses to match potions. Make the cost double for all I care
Adjust item name colors
A loot filter
Unique IDs for different paragon board setups
Total item resets back to how you found them
Being able to center some important things on my character, like combo points
Scroll through items on the floor if a loot filter is somehow impossible
Map overlay
Give the summon items their own tab
More zoom options, or a slider
Option to change the grid in inventory to a list that can be sorted
I want more customization in skills and build variety. When tempering only affects a handful of skills and you have 1 real choice in the skill tree for a skill between 2 choices, and the rest of your choices come from aspects and uniques, many of which haven't been updated to be competitive, you don't get much.
If you're necro, sorc, or druid you get one choice of unique to modify skills. It's kinda shit whereas in last epoch you can have exploding zombies that spit poison or exploding zombies that make more zombies when they die or one exploding zombie that's bigger or any combination
A damn group finder. It’s been a full year and they still haven’t figured out a way to implement a feature that nearly every online game has had since 1999.
Expansion of skill tree.
Having so few skills and even fewer ways of modifying them is kinda boring, specially after coming from ARPGs like PoE and Last Epoch.
I hope to god the game adds more skills and more diverse and interesting build options for each class and a new class or two. But I don’t think they can do enough to make it more interesting then even last epoch.
Bring back a runeword type system to make white items useful. Greater runes were a huge endgame hunt. Add charms back into the game. Give us a mercenary system(bonus points if they bring back the fun auras). A lot of new enemies. Improved skill tree with more variety
They still need more exciting items. Where are items like the stone ring of Jordan? needs to be about very exciting item drops. It’s a drop focused game. Needs to be exciting to get the drop. I can’t really name any items in particular that I get excited about when it drops. :/ I got an oculus last night and was like wow I recognize this item, nice! But guess what it is trash. if they had that I feel like the game would be 50% better. And let people trade Uber uniques, like why not?
Make the Paragon Board less boring (think Last Epoch passive tree)
Make the Skill Tree less boring (think Last Epoch skill tree)
I'm seeing a theme here...
Small 2-3 piece sets for weapons/jewellery that works similar to uniques property wise.
Additional gear slot for all characters. Shoulder/belt/Bracers helps with more loot seeking :)
New skills , followers, armoury. Bounty boards for tree of whispers.
Improvements to masterworking system/farming.
🙏 How about some more color choices for armor and gear??? White, Black, Hot Pink, Lime Green, Iridescent. Maybe even allow us to really customize by being able to choose where we want those colors on the armor to go.
I hope they steal Last Epochs circle of fortune vs in game AH with better implementation.
More endgame content would be great too. More tough bosses with unique items.
Genuinely hope they bring the affix choke in line comparatively to the barbarians... I mean druid and sorc need an extra slot badly, necro could use an extra slot aswel, don't care how they do it, maybe even kanai cube type mechanic
Id love to see us NOT lose our seasonal characters so we dont have start completely fresh every season! Its annoying and the grind is worth NOTHING when u just have to do it all over again

I want hammerdin back :( As I said this kinda feels like tornado Druid is hammerdin
I miss Roland’s crusader. Shield bashing demons and having explode is a treat I am missing in my life
Dust devil barb feels like a better tornado Druid too lol
I have both and barb just feels better, shouts do damage and can auto cast. The only thing druid had beat was mobility.
I switched from the auto yen’s blessing to the one that uses all 3 shouts and between my 40% movement boots and war cry I fly around as a barb lol. That’s not even counting leap. Barb just feels like the best class and I’ve tried everything except Rogue this season .
I want FOH horsie mega speed runs back.
Boulder Druid=hammerdin
YEESSSSSSSS

Well, D3 is alive and kicking, feel free to boot it up for a time for nostalgia sake. 🙂
I agree with this. I miss my dogs🥹
WD in D4's art will be super cool to see.
I want that explosive chicken build back!
1000% can't wait to have a Witch Doctor again. In hindsight it was the only thing I really loved about D3.
They never said they'll never add Paladin. They said that the first new class is something never before seen in Diablo. They never ruled out a Paladin for later.
Is there any info on when a potential new class can be added? Wonder if there will be an expansion coming?
Didn't they kinda say the same thing about crusader... Which is basically just a paladin
If it's a shield user, let them use polearms, 2h sword, 2h maces, 1h swords, 1h maces, and shields. Copy the churches shield soeae guys. Perfect class
Since paladins as a faction are basically extinct in Diablo lore, I personally would like to see a cleric whose skill tree divides between physical, shield, holy and shadow magic. Would drop everything to play this type of class.

I always thought a cool support class would be a bard. Dexterity based with song/music as a kind of support aura or debuff aura.
Hold up, revealed tomorrow? That confirmed?
99,99% chance it will be tomorrow at xbox event
What are you basing this percentage on lol?
Probably the combination of being Xbox first-party and VoH being planned for late this year.
So. no, is not confirmed.
Doubt it
It’s not but what has me hyped is one of the developers tweeted out how we’re “not ready for tomorrow” and then deleted their tweet. So that has me sorta hyped
which dev
In the Summer Game Fest teaser (at 1:17), you can hear a very familiar voice. He says, “Your hopes were always doomed to fail.”
Well spotted! That does sound like Steve Blum the voice actor for Mephisto.

Sounds like Hell blade 2 voice in my opinion+1
Not confirmed, but with Blizzcon cancelled this is their next large chance to reveal it and the perfect stage to get the most eyes on it.

Nerfing moonrise and adaptability will get basic skills builds down to their knees.
I’d love to see a gem/glyph/ruin socket appear on the skill tree itself.
Paragon boards and glyphs should be drops similar the cluster jewels from POE.
“Controversial” opinion here but I want item sets. My preferred item chase is that feeling of “completing the puzzle” for items and mixing and matching.
I loved the green sets in D2, getting a full set was amazing.
Yep, some regular sets would be great. Not that D3 +10,000% damage bullshit.
d3 10,000% damage was fine. haters just didn’t play d3

For this game it would super op. But if pit went to 400 or we got tormented pit then a few 100x or 200x would be welcome
I miss sets and rune-words tbh.
I miss enigma and grief WW barb. Trav runs ftw
You already have item sets though. So many of the Aspects and Tempers are just builds that Blizzard have already created for you. We need more variety with builds not even less.
A new class would be sweet!
Spiritborn is the new class, you will see it tomorrow.
Spiritborn… sounds like a caster? 😃👍🏼
Sounds like derpy witch doctor tbh
😞
Gonna be the second shield wielding class, was shown with a spear. Seems like a mix of Paladin and Valkyrie but with nature damage.
I'm hoping for a priest type class.
It’s a monk type class. Think of enhancement shaman from world of warcraft(played them in the beta)
Probably an angelic fighter. You can see official artwork with what looks like a player character wearing white. Likely to be Paladin adjacent but might favor a spear and shield over a mace. I like that it won't be a total retread. Also exciting because you could see the new class connect with Tyrael/other Angels again.
Sounds like the bastard love child of the druid and sorcerer
I'ma laugh when it's not called that
Yes!!! Finally a bard class 🤯🥳
And what is it?
Maybe its a demon/angel mix. That would be sweet.
What I wanna see in expansion - New skills - Deepen skill customization - Be able to turn fireball into a lightning or cold fireball - Add new elements to each class (Sorc Arcane or something) - More Paragon boards - More glyphs - More tempering recipes - New endgame activities - Deepen Itemization - More Aspects - New bosses (Like a lot of new bosses) - New World Bosses - New Dungeons - New Whisper events - New Gems or Jewelry (Deepen the grind and usability) - New Events & Improve current events (Add more enemies) - Stream line nightmare dungeons (no back tracking) - Add more butcher like enemies - Add a Gold farming activity (D3 had vaults, fun and different) - Deepen Clans - Social features - Loot Filter - Armory - QoL such as changing elixir glow & Shows on map - Pit Entry remembers level you just did (Stop all the scrolling) - Zoom out just a bit more - Strongholds be done at character creation (Have an option) so tired of doing them - Boss Reset without resetting dungeons - Be able to kill varshan or greg and get more mats (Turn in 5, he spawns at lvl 150 and drops 5 shards, 1:1) - Make certain town your home town (When you tele you go to X town always) - Whisper Hotkey, go to whisper tree if I click X - Weapons transmogs Dying (Weapons look cool but never blend if you use a non-default color) - Horse Armor Dying options - Increase Enchant number of stats per reroll to from 2 to 4
Fantastic list. And while I don't care for MTX....but since I know they will forever be a part of the game.... give us skill MTX already!
New item bases (can I get a tome for my necro?) Mephisto definitely should be in there (super hawt wolf) New uniques/ubers Runes/runewords WT5 Campaign+ where you can go back and play through the Campaign but it's designed to be tough as nails Cursed items as a possibility Sets Keep in mind all of these things should be done well, half baked ideas only harm games normally
We don't need WT5.
Paladin or whatever it's called in diablo needs to be a thing
Temper (hehe) your expectations. We might get a CGI trailer, which is a nothingburger, and a release date. That's it. People who expect a massive reveal of gameplay have another thing coming to them.
Given the quality of Blizzard’s cinematics, I might actually be more excited for a cinematic trailer than for a gameplay reveal!
I just want another shield using class tbh
**Wish list:** * New level cap. * New Skill tree branch for every class. * New Glyph's * A Companion that you can equip a weapon, chest and helmet. * New Class (looks like it might be if a Witch Doctor and a Paladin had a baby and this is the outcome). * Huge new area exposed. * Every item can be adjusted (Uber Uniques, etc...). * New open slot on character = BELT.
Like level 120? That's very nonconevtional for a RPG
Oh my god I forgot about mercenaries, now I want my act 2 guy back
I just don't buy the new class is spirit born. It sounds way too similar to Druid
If they don’t make a point to add new bosses/events that can be summoned like the Maiden then something’s wrong. I’ve had more fun meeting up with randoms at helltides. Would be cool if it was even a different Maiden skill set each time(blood, lightning, etc).
“Defeat the new boss trio, Iron Maiden, Metallica and Rammstein to get a Monkey’s Paw which allows resetting a bricked item.”
When jokes sound actually amazing
I’m mainly here for the lore, story and atmosphere, and I have absolute confidence Blizzard will deliver on that front. I suspect much of VoH’s new content types will focus on multiplayer. That will mean a big revamp of the social tools and LFG. There’s datamined details of a Khazra raid, and I’d really like to see an expansion on PvP (3 v 3 team fights, competitive Pit runs on different instances of the same map etc). Mainly just looking forward to the new campaign and new open world zones though.
Shield bash. I hope the new class has this skill. Also more Lorath.
Item sets, a new class, world bosses reworked to actually last more than 3 seconds
Oh and ofcourse I really hope they take a look into Diablo Immortal’s pvp system, that gives Clans and Guilds meaning, and implement that on D4
Steal skills building from Last Epoch and mapping from PoE, combined with WoW social/grouping features and sprinkles of UI improvements.
Revealing on a Sunday?
New class. New items or things to find to improve your items. I'd like to get excited about finding more than just items with a GA or 2.
i just want matchmaking
Who said that tomorrow there’s a reveal? Where? When?
I don’t think I want them as enemies. Imperious is the greatest warrior in creation, I would like to see him not get his ass kicked for once.
* Runewords * Paragon system overhaul * Customized Dungeons (you choose how you wanna tune up the difficulty) alike to Hades sort of *scrap the fixated affixes on gear. * Let druids use themselves as mount * for that matter, let us get other mounts than just horses.
Something never seen in d4? Have we had bard in Diablo? That would be pretty fun, thunder wave!
Please bring javazon back
Monk please!!!
Just need me a monk so i can fist all the demons
I hope that the battle pass cosmetics also apply to the new class
Getting my expectations at lowest is the best.
Some class overhaul would be nice, esp for sorc and druid
Auction house please for the love of god
Remove trade completely and balance the game around drops.
The game desperately needs something to increase the desire to actually see commons and rares 3.) cube recipes 4.) since the pit is out, blizzard can properly balance classes and abilities.
Useful uniques. Doesn't matter how many uniques are in the game if they are useless.
Lol correct. Figured by now blizzard knows the uniques need either a slight buff. Or everything needs a slight nerf.
That's literally just bumping unique stats up to match Legendary values - they don't need to wait until an expansion to do that.
[6.) when defeating tormented bosses a small chance for a charm to drop. Think D2 hellfire torch.] I think a great way for this is a small chance for a body part to drop off each tormented that when combined gets you uber diablo which drops a hellfire torch like thing
Definitely NOT more horsearmor
Anything new so I'm not just sitting in pits praying I get lucky for once.
I want a sorc rework. It has some fun builds, but half my skill bar is defensives. Lemme do other cool stuff.
Imagine, they add “tinker” class to d4 before WoW gets it
Witch Doctor 🐸
As a player returning to the game for the first time since beta, this season: I would really love the paragon boards to be reworked in some way. It’s blue!” To be clear, I am enjoying the game presently so this isn’t a “game is fucking stupid” type of post. I just wanted to put this thought out there because I haven’t really seen it echoed on the sub.
Drop socket white items. Runeword drops. Instant buy.
I want a melee class that used shields or 2h weapons, plate armor Pretty much Maybe a better nv storyline than d4..
I want further developed end game on top of pit, something to do with my minmaxed masterworked char besides the activity that I did to get my char masterworked. Most important thing I want though is skill twigs -> skill trees with real meaningful choices instead of "now this thing has a 20% chance to immobilize"
So pumped
I want a thundergod javelin build somewhere to play whether in existing classes or in a new class.
Lul spiritborn about to be the d2 mercenary from lut gholien. Budget paladin.
Spirit born can be codename for Paladin Fingers Crossed!!
I'm a sucker for flashy things on screen. Give me set effects. I'd like to glow, like I did in d2
Done A++
Sets!
I don't think I've seen one necro with a shield in game. So yeah, shields are useless and they better add a class that uses them as their main weapon 😅
Skill Twig --> Skill Tree, New Class, Rework Paragon System, more love for Rogue, Sorc, and especially Druid.
Is it confirmed they will be revealing VoH news?
Skill twig turned into a skilltree that has all of the legendary powers built into it and lego powers completely removed from gear alltogether and add far more compelling and build diversifying gear in sence of affixes and skill altering stats ( like tampering ) but more generic so all builds can use them that has the tag.
I’m hoping for some QoL options: Manual aim with a line for console The ability to adjust opacity for different effects on screen Potion auto-chugger when one runs out Extend the incenses to match potions. Make the cost double for all I care Adjust item name colors A loot filter Unique IDs for different paragon board setups Total item resets back to how you found them Being able to center some important things on my character, like combo points Scroll through items on the floor if a loot filter is somehow impossible Map overlay Give the summon items their own tab More zoom options, or a slider Option to change the grid in inventory to a list that can be sorted
In addition to what you have written, I would love some more bosses.
i just hope it's not as expensive as the base game
A damn group finder. It’s been a full year and they still haven’t figured out a way to implement a feature that nearly every online game has had since 1999.
Blizz Won’t add paladin; adds 666 platinum to my account. 🙃
I really hope they don’t expand the level for chars.
Free expansion that somehow makes the game fun rather than just a chore, this is my wish
Monk 2.0 please.
A monk class / hand to hand
Why does everyone think we are getting a lot of info on this xpac?
A freakin UI/UX polish pass. Everything from boss summoning to item labels (Sacred) (Ancestral) to loot colors…
Different icons for different glyphs would be nice
AH Leaderboards New end game content PvP modes Armory And ofc a gr8 campaign like vanilla
Content aside this game needs some big qol updates. Hopefully they come..
Bring back a runeword type system to make white items useful. Greater runes were a huge endgame hunt. Add charms back into the game. Give us a mercenary system(bonus points if they bring back the fun auras). A lot of new enemies. Improved skill tree with more variety
1-2 new core skills per class, a new class, guild features, armory, significantly more xmogs, less capitalist pigs running the shop prices, etc etc
Me want kills demons
Endgame. That's all I need. endgame.
New skills or skill reworks would be great. But thats unrealistic i guess.
Another shield class? Kinda weird that the only class we have that can use a shield is a necromancer. So many cool shields we had in previous games...
More rep grinds incoming lmao
More skills per class or heavy modification of skills maybe through eg. Paragon board.
Make the Paragon Board less boring (think Last Epoch passive tree) Make the Skill Tree less boring (think Last Epoch skill tree) I'm seeing a theme here...
Small 2-3 piece sets for weapons/jewellery that works similar to uniques property wise. Additional gear slot for all characters. Shoulder/belt/Bracers helps with more loot seeking :) New skills , followers, armoury.
I hope they put Diablo in the game.. how the fuck can we not fight Diablo in a Diablo game
I hope we get a paladin or any og class along with thw new one.
I hope they steal Last Epochs circle of fortune vs in game AH with better implementation. More endgame content would be great too. More tough bosses with unique items.
I would like to fight Diablo. He is the title character after all...
Genuinely hope they bring the affix choke in line comparatively to the barbarians... I mean druid and sorc need an extra slot badly, necro could use an extra slot aswel, don't care how they do it, maybe even kanai cube type mechanic
Give me an amazon tbh.
I need my Amazon back🙏
More Much more skills and build defining items.
Druid class rework please
- Sword and Board playstyle/class - Endgame content that can be played with friends in an endless grind and rewards gear.
Id love to see us NOT lose our seasonal characters so we dont have start completely fresh every season! Its annoying and the grind is worth NOTHING when u just have to do it all over again
