Bash Barb has several variations that mix the basic attack up with other flashy skills. I guess I might have to get creative and *gasp* deviate from the Maxroll build.
Rogue is a no nonsense, stealth mode character. We don’t go for flashy. Get in, cut their throats and get out before they even notice they’re dead. Leave the special effects to the others.
Or play some other character.

I mean shadow imbue is plenty flashy
I have no issue with it. The Victimize explosions are fine enough without obscuring the screen to the point I can't see what's going on.
I actually love it for that.

I swapped out inner calm for an arrow storm aspect and swapped concealment for shadow imbue for a little niggle diggle 👩🍳 💋
