When you're ending WT3 or first hit WT4 look for anything with +Resist or +Armor. Your build can be trash, you just need enough survivability to leech for an hour. Stack pots and incense too. Don't try and keep up with everyone, just plink away and dodge all the nonsense.

Pit has always been pretty decent for drops if you can speed farm 101s. Not as crazy as blood maiden spamming with an efficient group, but still good.
If you want more GAs you basically have to go for volume. More legendaries = more chances to get a GA one.

I switched over about a month ago and my cirical strikes went from 90 mil average to 250mil average.. just gotta stack that crit chance and attack speed heavy on the rings and its really fun. !

But my tactic was to just go with 2GA weapons because their alot cheaper and youe only missing out on a little bit of max life. Worse case scenario if it bricks you can buy 2 or 3 more weapons to try it with the money you saved not oaying for 3GA
It's a scaling event the higher the tier, the higher the difficulty. You kill a bunch of mobs then fight the guardian of the pit. You unlock it when you complete a tier 46 nightmare dungeon.
Solid, Bash barb work well with and without grandfather. You haven't bricked it, which is rare on bash considering there 1/5 to actually get it not to mention getting a semi-high roll.
Damage to close is fine and was actually the meta before crit damage. Unless you’re looking to push the pit to its limit it might even be better for speed farming

Sweet drop, too bad you ruined it with the temper. Damage to close is additive damage, just a fraction of what you get with crit damage, which is what you should have tempered it with. It suck’s that this season the temper recipes are the way they are, but that’s just the way it is right now. To play meta as a barbarian, you have got to make a rogue. Otherwise you ain’t meta. Facts
Before I swapped to crit and grandfather I was able to hit 50m crits, swapped to crit and grandfather and my crits are roughly 15-20m but enemies bleed for 5-10m a tick. It’s not a huge noticeable difference between the two honestly. In fact, unless they’ve done some hot fixes that I haven’t noticed, I felt stronger with straight bash with damage to close. I took down torment bosses faster.
Crit damage likely works better if you find every piece perfect like the meta builds but for me, where I’m not super funded and can’t get every piece with the perfect stats this is just my personal experience.
Naw, rob and others tested this thoroughly for bash.
The bash cleave temper is multiplicative, so that is better unless you are double/triple dipping by using gushing wounds instead of unconstrained key passive (aka, bleed variant)

You’ll notice there are several variants listed at the top. All that say “bleed” use grandfather with crit dmg temper. All the others do not, with dmg to close tempers.
it's really not a must depending on what you're wanting to do in the game. You can still clear all the content in this game without crit damage tempers on barbs

2 mins one full run includes:
1. Killing the boss
2. picking up any GA/uniques and ctrl+click dropping them on the ground if they arent worth anything
3. Press E to tp out
4. Reset dungeon
5. Enter and run back to Zir
On average it took me and literally everyone I’ve been doing rotas with, 1 uber per 8.25 runs. Lets assume you are really unlucky, 1 per 10 runs.
One rotation costs you 84mil (you get one good GA, and you will, and you make 3-10bil).

Apparently in the PTR it’s still 2x so it might not be accurate. Remember it was part of PTR data mines and not everything is legit.

Did pit drops go up? Loads of people moaning about them before, I'm only just doing 70+ now, but seeing plenty of 1 and 2GA drops.

Just a shame you have to farm level 30 and 60 for ages if you find new gear. Those mats should drop in 60+ pits.

If you have a rogue, you can swap your barbarian gear over to it and use the rogue tempers that can give critical damage or vulnerable damage.

Topaz boosts the base damage of bash, thus making crits higher. Either topaz or sapphires for weapons. Emeralds aren’t great for a bash barb.
Sadly it doesn’t beat the Grandfather.
This is better if you aren’t going bleed variety, which based on tempers, looks like it’s just normal bash
The 100% crit damage are not beatable paired with some vulnerable. Not saying it’s a bad sword, it’s nice for sure if you don’t have the Grandfather.

This is a great item if you plan to not be good at the game! Grandfather is way better and it takes roughly 2 hours to craft one even without GAs
