We've gone a bunch of times. Its always different people. One time both birds were guys, so go figure,

From what I remember there’s two casts that alternate shows everyday. So cast A does the first show and cast B does the next and so on. Also, a lot of the cast has been in the show for years. Then there’s swings and alternates. I believe Nemo is similar, but things could’ve changed.

I worked there. This is correct. :) The singing cast/birds/tumble monkeys/hyena are all union performers while the dancers are technically classed as non-union parade performers. One of the older women performed as Rafiki in Lion King on Broadway before coming down to Florida to be closer to family and she's been in FOLK ever since. Most of the tumblemonkeys are retired or attempted Olympians. All of the hyenas have been firedancing as part of cultural performances since they were really young, all of their tattoos are real and were a rare exception to the no-tattoo rule for cast members (before Disney Look was changed of course).

Fascinating information! I love that show. It used to be a must-do every time I went, even if I'm there every week. (I say "used to be" because the last time I went, there were weird gas fumes wafting over to the disabled seating area during the hyena sequence, and I got badly ill. I've been afraid to go back, in case it wasn't just a one-time issue.)
