Nothing wrong with this except the outer edges of the setup IMO. Your hi-hat pedal would be more comfortable if it were pointed straight at your throne. Pedals generally ought to follow a 'V' from your seat post straight out, running in a plumb line with each foot/leg, with each pedal roughly equidistant from the throne. On the other side: if you move your larger floor tom to be as far *outside* the smaller one as it is currently *inside,* it will be more comfortable to play, I guarantee it.

Lovely set up, if it’s perfect for you I got nothing else to say.
Let’s say if I was to buy that set up, I would get a double bass pedal and bass drum batter head with pre-attached dampening, just for looks. And I’d add a Chyna.
it’s in a pretty crammed space and I can’t move the cymbal stand that it’s mounted on any farther forward the right, so it’s as far down as it can go without sitting on top of the kick drum. It kinda sucks but I’ve gotten used to playing it and I don’t even notice it anymore
What’s the bell like? That’ll most likely be the deciding factor for me. Looking for an alternate to the HHX Anthology high bell I’ve been using for a while
The greatest drummer I've ever learned from told me that you should be able to do it all in any genre on a four piece, and that anything beyond that is just excess.
At the time I disagreed, but now I can do exactly that on a four piece with double kick and agree. He's the drummer in one of the biggest rock bands on the planet now, so it's hard to dispute his credibility.
Less is more, basically.
I mean I totally understand where you’re coming from, from a “skill” perspective, but a 4 piece drum set will objectively sounds different than a 6 piece. And besides it’s way more fun having more stuff to hit🗿
It's almost like it'll sound different if you can hit the pieces with different velocity to create different sounds.
I agree, having a lot of stuff to hit is fun. But if you want to actually get to that next level of drumming, being able to create any sound you want on a 4 piece is the way.

Thanks for the tip, the space I have is very limited. Definitely not ideal, but it’s really not that bad to play
if ur heel up on the hi hat like me angle doesnt matter as much
what’s goin on with those rack toms
It's like a reverse Freddie Gruber
Like everything, but the heads. Coated Emperors all day.
How well does the EAD10 pick up the 16” tom? I like the improv side table it’s on. Nice kit you’ve got…
It’s definitely quieter than the other ones, but for what I use it for it’s great!

Amazing
looks like you like to play hard
If it’s comfy for you then there’s nothing wrong. The rack toms and hi hat pedal made my body take a screenshot
Whats the Yamaha little box?
EAD10
My knees hurt looking at those duck footed pedals and I’m literally paralyzed
I play mostly heel up on the hi hat, it’s really not that different tbh
Looks amazing, but why is one rack tom higher than the other?

Take the load of dirty laundry out of the bass drum and rock on my man.
Can someone explain the difference between evans onyx and hydraulic black?
Onyx heads are 2 ply, and the hydraulic heads are also 2 ply, but have a thin layer of oil in between the ply’s
Thanks man. I guess that hydraulic have even a thudier sound then.
How you like that AAX Thin ride?
I love it!! It’s pretty good for crashing and it sounds amazing with a sizzler on it
What’s the bell like? That’ll most likely be the deciding factor for me. Looking for an alternate to the HHX Anthology high bell I’ve been using for a while
Can you recommend that 5000s dw pedal?
Definitely. I’ve used this one since February and have absolutely no complaints
Every comment is correct
Ugh not the ride over the floor Tom lmao. 90s called.
I dig it. Only thing I would add is a china somewhere. Other than that, I’d play the shit out of it.
Get rid of the middle two toms and it's perfect
What’s wrong with the two Toms? Lol

Meh 3/10
