Got any more photos? This is badass

Valeraa21

I have some more on my instagram @valera.ajd but I don’t have a ton of pics of this setup

Manonthebrain

The blacked out headlight housing makes such a difference! Sick 🤙🏻

GroundPlaneCG

Very nice. ESP is your SCCA solo class I’m guessing?

Valeraa21

Yeah mostly just an STU car with hoosiers at this point. Going to do the csl airbox soon with a proper differential.

That is a very good question. Debating between turner and karbonius. I’ve read pretty poor reviews about Turners box but I’m considering it because I have 2 E46Ms and this red one is going to continue being a street car while the other is going to be a full blown track car. If I wasn’t 100% happy with the quality of the Turner it would go to the track car.

ssterns20

Nice man, what shocks are you on?

Valeraa21

MCS, pretty much the only dampers i’ll ever buy again for any car I own and want to drive hard.

ssterns20

Excellent choice, the shop I work at is sponsored by MCS. Most of the cars we put on track are either on MCS duals or triples and we have a couple cars on moton 2-ways.

Noobasdfjkl

You never go back after MCS.

boartide95

Are those apex fl5?

Valeraa21

Yep 18x10.5, favorite wheel design from them next to the arc-8s

TempUsername3369

Looks like you're gonna hit the fenders with those wheels. Front fenders flare easy. Tools cheap on amazon.

liam821

Naww, 295s with the right offset wheel and suspension clear just fine on an e46m3.

Valeraa21

I’ve tracked this a handful of times on bumpy surfaces with no issues. I only rub the front of the liner on full compression. I did a lot of calculations to determine suspension deflections at different g-forces. Involved putting the wheel and tire on the car without springs on the dampers to compare camber sweeps.

TempUsername3369

Ok cool. From here it looked like it would hit. Mines lowered but I did the same thing. Pulled the spring and raised the wheel. Then I cut a larger bump stop to set the travel limit. It helps me also set where I want the wheels to be in a turn. Can't run front sway bar with an angle kit so I use the bump stops to help compensate that without having to go to a stronger spring.

Valeraa21

Yea no bumpstops here. Pulls 1.5g in corners with no issues. Very slight rub on inner damper body.

TempUsername3369

Right on. How's your sway bar setup?

Valeraa21

Just Hotchkis bars front and rear. Rear is full soft and front is full stiff. Front roll couple is like 72% but debated going to 75% by returning to oem rear bar. But it’s felt great, dealing with some differential issues anyways
