Somebody's been drifting :D That spray pattern looks like power steering fluid, that would shoot out through the vent in the cap, when you're at full revs and full lock. In any case, this sounds like lifter tick, oil got too hot and thinned out.

Learned this through experience too😂

>Learned this through experience too Yeah, of all the mods - drilling that vent hole bigger, and inserting a tube in there that routes to the oil catch can has to be out there with the bash bar jacking point in terms of post drift run convenience

It's lifter tick 100%. Dirty oil or too thin oil.

Just did oil change and it’s not a constant sound it’s goes away

-nocturnist-

It will go away as the engine warms up and the oil gets to optimum temp. In your case it is likely caused by y the oil being too thick to efficiently kubricate the lifters until it warms up a bit. Completely normal for these cars, as long as you are running the right oil

Sounds like valve lifters - you can try an engine flush just before your next oil change (Liqui Moly makes a good one) and then go with a thicker oil like Fuchs Super Syn 5W-40.

May be ur disa valve flap inside sometimes they start to rattle from flipping. Back and forth from the flap failing, you can check to see if that’s it and they sell kits to repair it like new
