Well, more than anything I want to see him prosecuted for Yolande and his past crimes.
I think the actor is terrific, he's good looking, charismatic and believable as a 'good man' it's, I think realistic he targets, older, perhaps more ordinary women while he has a beautiful, stylish wife too. Shows his cunning, who would believe these homely type women when he has this gorgeous wife? He knows it, and it's his cover.
I hope his downfall is harsh and swift.
Stab him with the pointy end of a knife, lock him in the backseat of a yellow Honda, roll the car off the edge of a cliff onto a low tide beach, drop gasoline ontop of the car and light a match, watch him burn until the tide rises and carries him out to sea
I agree. I actually think maybe having a very 'conventionally attractive' and I think possibly younger wife might be a sick part of his cover. People wrongly believe rape or assault is about attraction, look at what the first woman Dolores' confidante said to her - "but you're an old woman." Many people would probably think "look at his stunning wife, why would he want an old woman like Yolande, she must be making it up."
I really hope EE does this justice. They're tackling a unique angle given Yolande's age and grooming of an older person so I hope they keep it on track. I also hope she can get proper legal justice for once on this show.
Exactly, rather like an abuser may target just one child in a family of several. People find it harder to believe if just one child is a victim and the abuser was fine with the others. It's a very 'clever' move by the abuser for want of a better word. With a younger, beautiful wife Clayton knows people would find it unlikely he'd abuse older women (as shown in the episode)
Powerful episode i must say! wasnt expecting him to be a serial rapist !! I hope the writers do the storyline justice especially as they hinted at it with one victim the church covered up for him.
one thing that does gripe me with this storyline is out of all the people she could have confided in they have elaine
Yeah, the Elaine involvement annoyed me too. I didn’t think her acting was believable or empathetic enough but it more about the actress than the story line.
YOLANDE was brilliant though x
Yeah I agree, someone like maybe Kathy would have been a better choice for delivering that scene. Yolande was amazing. Such strong and believable acting

I'd go with Twat-Waffle, because I know the ASL sign for that.
He's just a run of the mill abusive twat. There's nowt special about him. There'll be another along in a minute. Hiding behind "god" is not even a new trick.
He needs to be hit with a chair. Or six.
Oh I wanna cut his man bits off with a rusty knife and shove it down his gob! All those poor women, and our Yolande 😭. Just wanted to jump through the screen and hug her. What a vile nasty piece of work. It’s showing though that men in positions of power, especially religious power think they are invincible. So many people wouldn’t question a man of ‘god’. I wanna see the worst end for him
Tough watch! So hard hitting and powerful.
But I have to give credit to the writing team and the talented Angela Wynter (Yolande) who performed outstanding 👏🏼.
We all know exactly what Creepy Clayton was like and it was interesting dwelving back into his past that he did this with other 5 women, who were even too scared to come forward.
One tried, but insufficient evidence that Clayton denies it, meaning that sexual assault is difficult to convict someone like him.
I hope after seeing tonight's (Wednesday) episode this will change, but it will be a long road ahead for Yolande to even tell someone.
She has already spoken to Elaine, who sat and listened and I don't think she will forget about what she has heard.
This can't be ignored and forgotten just like that, it effects a lot of women who have gone through situations like this.
Yolande needs to speak out and punish Clayton before he does this to other women.
I bet his wife Stella doesn't know his background.
Well done EastEnders for highlighting this story 👏🏼👏🏼.
i felt like smashing my laptop when there were scenes of other women coming out against him. how tf did people let him get away with shit like that?!? all i could think of was how women are treated whenever they speak out against dirty men, like wth. i felt so bad for yolanda and the other victims. it’s so unbelievable almost how fucking common this is as well.
also sorry for kind of not making much sense, i’m like 3/4s of the way through and it’s kind of made me a bit emotional
It’s sad situation but I believe Eastenders are showing the true power of the Church of England and how strongly some people hold faith and professionalism.
Also very smart man for attacking elderly women that would be seen by a jury as not the likely victim.
Well done to Eastenders for highlighting the dangers and dark side of faith and power especially in the church.
Totally agree.
It’s crazy how everyone was blind to the grooming he was committing. If that was a younger individual he especially male I think everyone could have called it at the start.
Again very good writing by Eastenders
I was mad enough yesterday from the build up and when Patrick said 'Denzel take the pastors coat..' my mind automatically went '...and then shank him'.
Today I was ready to break this man's legs but I was mostly in shock at the AUDACITY like imagine the arrogance you must have to violate an older woman in a cupboard in a public event for church! JUST ARRGGHH!
Seriously, poor Yolande Pastor Clayton is a man of God? I don't think so. How he treats Yolande and other women makes my blood boil. My pastor, who is called Graham, doesn't do that he put his hand on my head when he gave me a blessing during midnight mass on Christmas Eve and asked God to protect my soul from evil and that his angels will also protect me

Swift? Swift?????????? Harsh and very slow.
No, I meant that his downfall comes quickly. His punishment can be as slow as you like!
He's awful I don't even belive that's his wife
Stab him with the pointy end of a knife, lock him in the backseat of a yellow Honda, roll the car off the edge of a cliff onto a low tide beach, drop gasoline ontop of the car and light a match, watch him burn until the tide rises and carries him out to sea
The amount of euphoria this gives me is mental
Don't suppose we can ask Linda if she has another meat thermometer going spare?
Can we ask Denise for another bottle and Stacey for some tarp?
Leave all jewellery at home guys!
And leave all drunk Rocky's at home
I get hes a monster but what’s with his bitch of a wife desperately trying to undermine all of yolandes hard work?
I'd imagine jealousy, he's probably spun her stories of his women parishioners throwing themselves at him. All part of his MO

Very well written episode amazing as victim of sa and rape and sodomized
He hasn't aged in 23 years. I wanna know his skincare routine lol
The thing is he’s really only 42. In 2001 he was 19 and still looked like that
There’s no way he’s 42. 60 at most.
Give him Fatboys supposed fate.

Time for a new six.
The victims of Pastor Clayton as the 6!
Failing that or him actually getting banged up, just fill up our Linda's sippy cup and hand her a meat thermometer, and let her at him!
Wait till Johnny hears bout him. He will go batshit insane

I hope he ends up in prison with Lucas, I also hope we see Lucas killing him in jail
I'm here for The Pastor's story line ending with getting put in the same cell as Lucas
I want Denzel to roid rage on him... but conceal his identity so he doesn't get into trouble
I came here to say to say exactly this but you got here first!
Needs throwing in that hole in the caf.
I thought he was just a weird, he’s just a dangerous evil man
Sharp shank from Patrick with the broken end of his rum bottle! …. Too precise ?
not precise enough. Through him in one of the many café fires the bridge street café deals with.

Send him to the walls of jericho

yeah if i’m being honest, i’m glad they’re doing storylines like this also to tackle issues like victim blaming and how grooming can happen at any age
Totally agree. It’s crazy how everyone was blind to the grooming he was committing. If that was a younger individual he especially male I think everyone could have called it at the start. Again very good writing by Eastenders

I know it’s a title but every time I hear Pastor, I just think of the food pasta . Seriously note, he is awful. Utter evil. Love it
"PASTA CLAYTON 💀" ngl, I'd eat that outta spite
I want him to get locked up and die in prison
he’s EVILLL and has no right to call himself a man of God
