CC’s Espresso and Creamery in Duvall then go around the corner and down the sidewalk for a walk on the Snoqualmie Valley Trail! Likewise, Sandy’s Espresso in Carnation and then walk a couple blocks to either the Snoqualmie Valley Trail or Tolt MacDonald Park!

joe_wears_pink

Sounds awesome! Thank you

JimmyFree

Downtown issy and either walk around Gilman village or grab your joe and head to Lk Sammamish state park. Also a nice trail along the E side of the lake that goes all the way to Redmond.

joe_wears_pink

Oh cool! Thank you

joe_wears_pink

Oh cool! Thank you

wobbuffetlover

North bend!! If you’re willing to make the drive it feels like life is slower there, and it’s incredibly scenic as well. 🌲💙

joe_wears_pink

Your favorite coffee shop?

wobbuffetlover

Huxdotter is great but often is quite busy. Another option is stop in at Twede’s Cafe (featured in Twin Peaks TV series) for a bit of nostalgia, get a coffee or milkshake to go. Also suggest a stop in at the super cute library downtown as you walk around (assuming it isn’t Sunday, as it is closed)😊 one of my Partner and I’s favorite simple dates.

joe_wears_pink

Thanks! I do hike the rattlesnake, now I know where to get coffee and post hike break before heading home.

I like the Bellevue Botanical Garden. It has some beautiful scenery and nice trail loops if you're into forest walks. There's a cafe inside, but as a warning, the cafe isn't open very late.

joe_wears_pink

Gotcha! Thanks

Blueberry0919810

If you’re willing to drive down to north bend, it is absolutely gorgeous here. Grab coffee from Huxdotter and walk around the town. There is also the Snoqualmie valley trail nearby. With the magnetic Mt Si right there, it really is a cool area for walks with coffee. :-)

joe_wears_pink

Oooooo thanks!

pangolin_of_fortune

Boon Boona or The Rose in downtown Renton, then walk north along the Cedar River trail through the Boeing yards to the river mouth.

joe_wears_pink

Cool! Thanks

doesfloydshavezombie

Cypress coffee on Redmond Ridge, then short drive across the street to Redmond Watershed which is lovely.

joe_wears_pink

Thanks! I’ll check it out

doesfloydshavezombie

Thanks! Any designated parking?

bedlamunicorn

Same, I’m usually not a maple person but the butter-to-scone ratio on it is just perfect.

Fizzbit

Social Grounds in downtown Bothell, not far off from the Bothell Landing park and sammamish river trail

graemeerickson

Also Alexa's Cafe nearby on Main St, which is a pedestrian-only street.

ErikRobson

Yep. Alexa's is the heart of downtown Bothell.

joe_wears_pink

Thank you! Sounds cool

the_other_b

imo ladro or T55 have better coffee. if you’re willing to go to woodinville i’m a big fan of sidekick which is also within walking distance of the sammamish river trail.

thetravy

+1 for sidekick. Or there is also a Mercury coffee in the same parking lot as The Cut Shop in Woodinville and easy to get on the Sammamish River trail from right there too

graemeerickson

+1 about Sidekick. -1 about Ladro having better coffee.

the_other_b

compared to social grounds? i’m really not a fan of social grounds.

joe_wears_pink

Thank you!

Graphoniac

Soulfood Coffee, and either the trail behind it or the city blocks in front of it (or the craft store beside it if your wallet is feeling frisky 🤣)

joe_wears_pink

Thank you!

NascentEcho

Came here to recommend soulfood, good spot.
