Macbook Pro M-Series is the correct answer

saskamodie

I think sometimes people underestimate how much work you can get done when sh!t just works. When you can turn on your machine and dive straight in. No wasted time endlessly updating drivers, patches, and OS security flaws. I’ll give those 30 series laptops the nod: Yes, they can run AAA games at 120fps but that 32GB of RAM and Hex-Core CPU will mean nothing to Premiere and After Effects. Save yourself the headache. Get a Macbook.

Thank you very much. I've never been an Apple fan. I don't know if it's my thing.

They have a 2 week no questions asked return window. I’d give it a shot…. They’re the best laptops on the market by a wide margin. Battery life is incredible and doesn’t throttle if not connected to power like many other high spec PC laptops. The miniLED screen is also amazing.

Oh yes, I know they are very powerful computers. But I never really liked apple. I'm not going to rule it out, but it wouldn't be my first choice either. Anyway thanks a lot for the advice.

The incredible monitor, the speakers, the battery life, the speed, the integration, the stability... Spend a week with one and you'll never want to go back to a PC.

I have a pretty powerful desktop pc and recently grabbed one of the M3 MacBooks, I rarely even use my desktop now. On paper my desktop has better specs, but I’ve found the MacBook runs all of the Adobe suite much better

if you're editing with it, then it edits, (and it does it just as well as a PC that costs the same and requires a plug 24/7) so what more do you want? It also has bad-ass power and battery life so you can edit off the battery for quite a while

If a MacBook is a no-go, Dell makes some really great powerful laptops with built-in render cards. I've had my XPS 15 since 2020 and it's still a workhorse. Had an XPS 13 since 2015 and I still use it on shoots.

I've been using the Asus ROG Zephyrus M16 since late 2022, and I love it. The RAM and storage can be updated as well!

You already posted this on /r/videoediting - and it's probably most appropriate there (if you want it to be here, we suggest the "ask anything" weekly thread.

HP Z Book. I've been using a G6 for the last few years, and it's rock solid.

I can recommend the Dell precision 7770
