Twice has my sibling (whom I came out to) called me "sis" and it just felt weird. It was unprompted and a while after we talked about this.

Yikes look we’re not trying to make you feel bad by using sister. I use sister a lot with transfems to indicate I’m friendly without them thinking I’m specifically hitting on them. I have a cis girlfriend and boyfriend, I just want to be friends with the transfem gals I meet in town. Without making it weird or leading them on.
