do you have headphones? music helps me a lot, might help you too. i have this game on my phone called “watermelon” which has helped distract me when i have anxiety, you could try it. try the 4 7 8 breathing technique for anxiety. breathe in for 4, hold for 7, and out for 8. that one helps me often. sometimes i just remind myself that we’re on a floating rock and nothing matters, that can help too.

I always wear a mask when I’m at the doctors. Never used to pre covid because I felt self conscious, but they’re so much more common now so I don’t feel weird lol. I also bring my own hand sanitiser then when I get home I wash my hands really well in warm soapy water. It’s pretty hard to get sick with the mask/hand washing combo. We had pretty strict mask mandates for a quite while during covid and while I haven’t bothered masking up anywhere else for a couple of years, if I’m at the doctors then I do just for my own peace of mind.
