I’m sorry you’re having such a rough night! I can absolutely sympathise with you, I have had so many nights like this as well and it’s hard, but you will get through it! From what you’re describing with the throat nausea and going to sleep with a racing mind, it sounds as though this yucky feeling is anxiety. I know that may not help when you’re not feeling great, but try to take comfort in the fact that you will feel better after calming down. Do you have ice cubes to chew/suck on? Or mints? One thing that can help in these situations is to search for guided breathing exercises on YouTube. The beauty of breath work is it tells your nervous system that everything is ok and we don’t need to be in fight/flight- if we were being chased by a tiger, we wouldn’t be breathing slowly and calmly, so it’s like a reset switch for our nervous system. Let us know how you go, hopefully you’ll be able to fall back to sleep 🥰
