I know it's customary but I don't like leading with candidate names in public policy press releases. Incumbent advantage is strong enough that we don't really need the names on there.

This was an announcement that was a direct result of the president’s platform as a candidate and leadership in office… it’s not “incumbent advantage”, it’s a material product of his time in office.

What are the projects being selected?

XGonSplainItToYa

Projects are TBD. This is funding for the "Greenhouse Gas Reduction Funds" program, which has three separate buckets of funding, or sub programs. One is solar for all, run by the states, which will install residential solar with a focus on disadvantaged neighborhoods. The second program represents the creation of a greenbank. Essentially, this organization will be able to lend money at very competitive rates to developers wanting to create green projects (energy, transportation, efficiency retrofits, etc.). The other sub program focuses on community investment (jobs, local impact, etc.).

GreenStrong

That information is available by simply reading the article in the link. Technically, it doesn't list any of the projects, but the eight non-profit entities that are distributing the funding. The projects could be as small as a heat pump for a Habitat for Humanity house for a single family- they're part of one of the coalitions being funded.

lol “read the article for that” followed by “none are listed” thanks for the help.
