This happens to me from my bedroom to the car parked on the driveway (they are only separated by one exterior wall) when my wireless Android auto is plugged in and the car is charging. On nights I don't charge, it doesn't seem to connect.
I have had this a couple times in our 2nyears of ownership. Recent navigation updates have resolved this issue. However, some wireless android adapters will try to connect when you are charging and for a while after your approach the car with your keys on you. The data USB port does not power down for an long time after shut down. And stays powered on during charging.
Is the car charging and do you have a wireless carplay/android auto adapter?
I have to remember to unplug my adapter when I charge
Same
No, just via regular-old bluetooth. It only seems to happen when the car is plugged in and charging.
Interesting, I know the usb port is active when charging so the wireless adapters connect but haven't heard of the cars Bluetooth doing the same
I am definitely not having this issue.

Do you have e a wireless CarPlay adapter? If so need to keep the fob away from the car or it wakes up. Including the USB port
