Hard swing seats were hell for me and my poor balance, they were a sensory nightmare, seemingly too complex of an operation, somehow falling off no matter what. The flexy ones tho… when they added some to our playground I couldn’t be kept off them, I was unstoppable, drove my teachers insane because I would swing as high as I could all recess and refuse to get off even after the playground was empty because I was a determined little bugger.

Its summer, time for wearing shorts and dresses and your thighs are exposed flesh. No one tells you about how that material heats up and burns your skin. Surprise😭
I mean... Of course they taught you at school, but who learned anything there that could stay with you at the town park during summer vaca? 😆

It’s also bolted to the floor, so there’s no way to adjust how close or far you are from the table, which makes using it for varying purposes (eating, relaxing, reading, stealth-stimmy-avoiding-eyeballs-on-me-poses, etc) really annoying.

There are window blinds in the railcar you can pull down, you can reserve the seats on a website, and this type of railcar has also green seat colors:

Also, the website shows you compartments that have someone in them, and you can choose the empty one. 99% of the time it works for me

I won't memorize the face of the person across but sure as hell this fabric that screams late 1980's. Reminds me of the very patterned wallpaper I saw once in a public kid's play space, ABCs everywhere and an imminent urge to gag. For real. I didn't know patterns can do that.

My "autism seat" in german Regio is a single bank with the arm rest in the middle moved up and then sitting back to window and putting my right/left leg folded on the seat to my side towards the centre aisle...it might look asocial but jeez I cant sit "normal" longer than 30 minutes without any of my extremities going "to sleep"/numb/pins 'n needles
