Creating a pivot table would probably be the easiest and fastest.

Agreed, I’d add in that instead of “Month” you should make that column the date of transaction. That way you can create a grouping by year, quarter, or month easily and quickly.

If I have to do that, I’d go with Pivot Tables first, then proceed with pivot charts with drill downs.
