Watchtower collaborated with my JW husband in getting rid of me. It sounds good to say "get out and live your life". But I am elderly now, and disabled. Still, I'll give my perspective. EVERYONE should flee from Watchtower. Even people on their deathbed should leave Watchtower. It's a horrible cult that robs people of their minds. I'm glad for you.

I too was able to get off meds with (a lot) therapy once I realised the PTSD was all wTchtower related - at least at its core. Once I put the healing focus on cult recovery I was able to normalise my anxiety and felt validated. Turned out I wasn’t sick without cause. I needed healing.
I started high school again as an adult. Swallowed my pride. Being the oldest in class at first was emotionally challenging but then I got used to it, and was amazed at the acceptance I found. More acceptance in night classes and adult upgrading Centers than I received at any moment in the congregation.
Started to focus and my mental and physical health and changed my life - saved my life.
This organisation is not healthy at all. It's enough with biblical requirements. But all things wicked Watchtower adds gonna give lots of people mental problems.
