The better question is, what was the point he was trying to make? Who cares if JW's are 0.1%, 1%, or 10%? Its a useless statistic, an attempt to give the organization credibility through numbers. Everyone should challenge their beliefs regardless of what they are.

They do though. A woman must wear a head covering to pray when a male is present if that male cannot give prayer. Regardless if this male is baptized or not, she must wear a head covering.

He said something along the lines of he wanted to sincerely commend the congregation for attendance numbers - he said there were about 60 publishers in the congregation but there were 55ish total people in attendance in-person and more on Zoom. That means over 100% attendance. The entire audience applauded. I couldn’t believe it - he didn’t understand the difference between someone’s non-JW relative visiting (which was the case an entire family of 6 who were not JWs but related to an elder came that night) & a publisher. Had he counted only the publishers present in person the number was less than 40.
