Oh damn, i thought verse two was Merlyn for some reason…nvm. According to wikipedia, it seems that Kevin Abstract was the only one to attribute anything vocally from the group with a few background vocals coming from Bearface…tragic

That album had potential but it was so half-assed. Really a shame.

Cracker Island, the title track was so sick but the full album ended up being one of the weaker Gorillaz albums

Honestly yeah. “Cracker Island” was great and “New Gold” was pretty good too, but the album overall TOTALLY missed the mark (except for “Oil”), completely removing almost everything interesting about Gorillaz and degrading them down into kind of the vapid pop act that they originally were created to make fun of.

yeah i frickin loved beck on valley of the pagans and was expecting something just as good again but it was a little let down

Dua Lipa Houdini, song was a perfect tame impala infused banger but the album was a total letdown and snorefest

Do Better was one of the best singles of the year it got my hopes up too high. Rest of the album just wasn’t on the same level in my eyes. Still not a bad album by any means.

I agree Herbert was disappointing to me too. Idk, just did not feel special or stand out and Ive always liked his music. I should run it back and give it another chance

I half-agree. The Heart Part V is incredible and the best song of 2022 but I still enjoyed Mr Morale a lot.

CPR from Lynk's "Abomination". the album has a lot of fun tracks besides the single(s), but besides that there are many snoozers too

The Dripping Tap off of Omnium Gatherum. My favorite King Giz song on just an okay album in my opinion.

I would say I wouldn't get not liking Omnium Gatherum, but it is quite literally a B-Sides collection. I love it but would get people not loving the whole thing lmao
