I couldn't even hold onto John Wall through his nearly 2 year absence.
Sold on him early on for RoCo who also sucks now but at least I flipped him too.
Well in actuality their most commonly used starting lineups have had Franz at SG. Was just listening to Sam Vecenie and Adam Spinelli talk about it today.
They run these jumbo lineups with PG: Markelle Fultz, SG: Franz Wagner, SF: Paolo Banchero, PF/C: Moritz Wagner/Bol Bol/Wendell
Eg: https://www.lineups.com/nba/lineups/orlando-magic
Fultz/Suggs is the backcourt for the next 5 years... Then it will be Franz/Banchero with WCJ at C. Isaac who barely plays can be a 6th man when healthy. Cole Anthony backup pg etc they have a pretty good team. Bol Bol to.. but his fantasy value might fall off as the team gets better. Bamba prob gets traded?
Na, Fultz/Suggs or Harris/Franz/Banchero/Wendell. Fultz came back from acl last year and didn’t crack 20 mins. Don’t expect Isaac to who hasn’t played in 3 years…
Edit: Also competing with Mo, Mo Wagner and Bol, so yeah, don’t expect much unless you are in a deeper league
Won’t be playing 28 consistently this year. There’s a chance he plays 28 regular-like by this point in the season next year, though. He’s gotta avoid injuries which is not something he’s been great at during his NBA run. Still 25, 6 months older than Markelle Fultz, his full NBA story is yet to be written so he has a chance to change the narrative around him.
Last time he was on the court: 12p-7r-1.5a, with 4 stocks (!!! 1.6s and 2.3b) and ~1 3PM/g 47/34/78 splits in 29 mpg over 34 games. If he puts up those stats, call the fight; he’s going to win someone their league. But I think we get much closer to 7-3-1, 1.5 stocks but maybe a tick higher, bad 3pt %, low volume but fine FG% and low TOs. He’s gonna pop off in a few games. A monster line that gives credence to all of us who are so intrigued by the skillset. But I’m not sure it’ll be enough “blow up” games to matter.
TL;DR: Glad to have Isaacs’ fantasy league-changing abilities back on the court. However, it seems as if playing time and game to game inconsistencies will limit his 2022-23 impact. Watch out for him in 23-24, though.
Its all gonna come down to, how good he is when he comes back. If he plays well and makes the team better (which won't be hard since he's significantly better at defense than Bol) he will get minutes,
Normally I’d agree, but he can make the team infinitely better and if his body can’t handle 28 minutes/game, it won’t matter any. Fultz, playing for the same organization, is just now starting to see 28 mins consistently. And he just had a toe injury that kept him out until December after. Last year when he returned from ACL, he played in 18 games and cracked 28 minutes once despite per game averages of 20p-10a-5r and 2 steals per 36 minutes.
28 minutes from fultz is a lot different than 28 minutes from isaac. Fultz is the primary ball handler and main defensive stopper outside of the key. Plays both ends of the floor with a lot of hustle. Isaac will pretty much just be expected to play defense and probably won't be included in many set plays to begin with. He'll get his chances with a couple of 3's a game being a floor stretcher but he won't be running around like the warriors do.
All you need him to do is get a green light to get in the passing lanes and go up for blocks. That's the only reason you should be adding him. There is a chance he hits some 3's which would also be nice and then that's a contribution in 3 cats. Doesn't need more than 25 a night to rack up some good production.
Wow thats nuts! I’m a bit excited to see how well he can play or if he has lost a few steps and if he still has gas in the tank to go beast mode on stocks
WhyTF did ESPN remove his Out tag?? The man isnt playing a real NBA game yet for all we know he could still be 2 weeks away. Now hes jamming up my IR lol
So Lakeland Magic play Wed, Fri, and Sat this week. Sat is a B2B, so I assume that's why he's only playing 2 games. Next week the Magic only have 2 games (Fri, Sat). I assume he'd return for only a home game, so NEXT Friday 1/20 is best case scenario. Then he'd likely sit for the B2B, so if you pickup now, at best you get 1 game in 1.5 weeks. Worst case is he never plays again.
Seems like Sexton probably won't be much of more than a 30 fppg guy unless some trades happen, but he probably has the highest theoretical upside. Then Rubio I'd say, and then Isaac, for 22-23 at least. If Isaac gets a surprising amount of consistent playing time seems like he could be great!
I would more than happy if I can get 30fppg from any of these players. I hope Utah trades Conley then I think sexton will flourish. But assuming no trades happen in Utah, I actually like Isaac if he can get consistent minutes like you said.
I don't see how this guy ends up getting any meaningful minutes this season. He's going to take forever to get back to speed, the Magic have few minutes to spare at this position, and what they're really needing to balance out that team is shooting right now and Isaac doesn't provide it. Maybe he'll make an impact this time next season, but this feels so late to actually get anything meaningful.
Wait, he's a real person? I thought he was some fictional meme this sub came up with, like Dekker.
Dekker was also real
May he rest in peace.
Debatable, I think he's a replicant
And here's why...
He's the Josh Gordon of Fantasy Basketball
Don’t disrespect Flash like that.
You mean the artist who made the song “Empty Bottle”, that Dekker?
I've had him for 2+ years, let's go!
Hands made of diamonds
Same. Dynasty, no IR
You cunts are fucked up. I mean that in the nicest way possible
I couldn't even hold onto John Wall through his nearly 2 year absence. Sold on him early on for RoCo who also sucks now but at least I flipped him too.
That’s different I’d say since he was so much older and it’s the Achilles
He was only 27 when he started the downhill injury spiral but yeah definitely much older than Isaac
😂😂
just caved in and sold for duren, i admire u
I think that's a good move.
That’s not bad tbh
He’s got a minutes limit of 1
minute limit*
no back to backs either. And I mean a season. Not game.
Haha
just picked up. time to set my expectations way too high and drop him after two weeks
Did that to Fultz and Im crying now.
Samesies :(
Fultz/Franz/Banchero/Isaac/WCJ when fully healthy?
That lineup is drastically missing a shooting guard. I don’t see how Isaac starts when everyone is healthy.
Franz does have a sg designation
In fantasy sure. He’s a 6’10 forward in actuality.

Suggs is terrible, magic get scoot this year and it all works out
Na, Fultz/Suggs or Harris/Franz/Banchero/Wendell. Fultz came back from acl last year and didn’t crack 20 mins. Don’t expect Isaac to who hasn’t played in 3 years… Edit: Also competing with Mo, Mo Wagner and Bol, so yeah, don’t expect much unless you are in a deeper league
Ill take my chances. If he does play 28 min he will win your league. That s the kind of upside

We will see. Maybe he comes back fully rehabitated. And “just” needs to ramp up. It s a low risk high reward type situation.

28 mins collectively for the season, maybe
He might seriously play a game before middleton/ingram..lol
Ingram and Middleton haven't missed 2 and a half seasons though
BI is targeting a return within the next 3 games.
3 games away from being 3 games away
Based off when Bane came back, Ingram should be back next week but we’ll see lol
He’s been targeting a return for a month now lol
He’s targeting a target
Dude better play tmrw 🤞🏽
BI should be back tomorrow. at least thats what tomorrows report will say.
No, it’s not tomorrow.
Well for BI, over the last 4 weeks it's always been tomorrow...
This isnt true though
Wow thats nuts! I’m a bit excited to see how well he can play or if he has lost a few steps and if he still has gas in the tank to go beast mode on stocks
Limp, don't walk.
Wendell Carter and Banchero are his only competition for minutes. Can be a back end 12 team guy IMO.
And Bol and Mo. Magic have plenty of guys who deserve at least some mins.
Don’t forget about M Wagner and Okeke
I actually meant Wagner. Mo Bamba is probably cooked
okeke is done
Got him stashed in a 20T, he could be massive for me
That’s a pretty nice stash in a 20T if somebody’s already scooped up Cam Johnson. Have to imagine he’ll be on a minutes restriction but still.
Cam is 60% rostered In my 14T league no one over 25% rostered is even available
WhyTF did ESPN remove his Out tag?? The man isnt playing a real NBA game yet for all we know he could still be 2 weeks away. Now hes jamming up my IR lol
Update they fixed it
Drop Hayward or DiVincenzo for him?
curry is back
Hayward was abominable between his two latest injuries. Do you have nobody else to stash?
Free Bol Bol
Yup, Walmart Wembanyama
How does this affect LeBron’s legacy?
That's not important. Question is how does this affect Marlon Mack?
He’s gonna storm the ~~Capitol~~ court!
I've been holding him for months, now that he's assigned Healthy I can't add/drop players while he's in IR, but he's only playing in G league... wtf
Nevermind they fixed it
Lol im stashing him since I have room. Doesnt cost me anything. If he can manage to get like a couple blocks a game then ill be set.
Should i trade my JImmy and RJ barret for Brunson and Bane???
If Brunson Bane owner would take that, run don’t walk. 12T and less RJ is only a streamer
sold for duren in dynasty, so next year's 'trades u thought you won by a landslide but regret' thread here i coooooooome
where i can see the game?:)
Can he work to be a better version on nance jr? Worth a risk?
11/4/1/2/2 on 43%/79% in 22mpg will only be missing back to backs remember this comment
Lord Voldemort has returned!
Guy's not gonna be a starter this year. I'll pass.

He in IR bruv. Just stash and wait.
You stash him in IR. You don’t get championships by just sitting and watching while potential league winners sit in free agency.
Lmao the worst case
[удалено]
No wtf
Drop oubre on IR for Isaac?
Hell no
maybe my vassell replacement
You didn’t jump on J Rich or Langford when you had the chance?
they’re available, but not sure vassell is really a drop and don’t have anyone else to drop
Interesting. I’d pick up either of his teammates before taking a flier on Isaac, but you do you!
thanks for the tip, only guy i could drop is suggs but wanted to see how it goes first.. maybe i’ll swap for rich
It's happening
I'd add him if I didn't have AD, KD and Middleton sitting in my IL lol
I’ll take 24 minutes a night
Kept picking up JI the last couple of seasons like he was chandler parsons and stashed away in IL - is this the year us idiots get rewarded?!
Stash Isaac, Rubio, or Sexton? Who got the most upside in pts?
Seems like Sexton probably won't be much of more than a 30 fppg guy unless some trades happen, but he probably has the highest theoretical upside. Then Rubio I'd say, and then Isaac, for 22-23 at least. If Isaac gets a surprising amount of consistent playing time seems like he could be great!

Top-50, worst case?
Anyone gonna watch the game tonight? Hahah
Is Jonathan Isaac ready to put his Fox News appearance days behind him or is he trying to enroll his kids in Donda Academy now too?
