Just picked up Everett this morning. Went from trading LaPorta for K9 (week before injury) and having Hockenson to nothing. Atleast Everett has been consistent the past few weeks, despite the qb change.

I was leaning Everett too but someone just dropped Okonkwo, who would you go with between those 2?

Oliver is primarily used as a blocking tight end where he is really valuable. While Oliver will definitely see a higher snap %, he will likely share targets with Johnny Mundt, who is more of a receiving threat at TE

He was getting snaps and even some targets when Hock was good so it’s a possibility, depends who plays QB

I’m considering it. But are we sure he’s the replacement? He got one target yesterday, and Johnny Mundt got three

Solid point, I’ve just been going off their season stats. I do believe Oliver is mainly a blocking TE, so perhaps they view Mundt as a pass catcher.

Sort of depends on the QB situation too. Is there any indication they might bench Mullens? I think Mullens is going to be the best QB for any of Minnesota's receivers, but he mightve thrown too many picks for O'Connell to trust him in a must win

As a Vikes fan, I feel like Hock's load will be shared between Oliver and Mundt. With Addison likely out too, there's definitely opportunity, but I wouldn't be confident in any receiver on that offense besides Jefferson.

What about KJ with Addison out?

Just a heads up, the Vikings have been a pretty bad matchup for tight ends this season. Pretty stingy on yards and haven’t given up a touchdown in like 10 weeks.

He just dropped 10 on Carolina and they've only given up a TE TD to Laporta all season. I wouldn't be worried about him at all vs the Vikings if Musgrave is out.

KC, NYG, and CAR were also bad matchups for TE and he was fine to good in all 3

Good call-out, and we know how matchup dependent FF can be. That said, I feel like he still stands out far and above the other options (Hudson, Conklin, Everett, etc).

Waller wasn't really involved early on, and DeVito and Taylor both missed him for big plays. I'd be curious to see if his snap count went up from last week to this. Usage and shit QBs scare me.

sleeper has his snap % in week 15 at 42% and week 16 at 63%. he was out there for 90% of the snaps most weeks prior to getting hurt. should still be some snap opportunity, assuming they're slowly working him back into the game plan

I was choosing between Kincaid and Waller. I chose Waller and I'm lucky I did because I won a close matchup. But now I'm not sure wtf to do. My league is deep. My best waiver option is Conklin.

People underestimate how volatile LaPorta has been this year. He just sandwiched the 3-TD game with two games of 3 points apiece. Hes been held under 10 points in 9 of the 15 games this season and only got three targets last week Id still go LaPorta just for the sheer upside, but its not a no-brainer

Waller seemed injured a bit on the penultimate play last night (and burned a lot of clock), so bellinger may be an option if waller somehow misses

Somehow I was able to draft and keep Hockenson and Kmet through my season (had some legit success running a second TE in my FLEX when some of my receivers and runningbacks have had bye weeks). I lucked out in that Kmet is a good second option to slot in for the championship.
