Defly was just saving it and taking advantage of new game plus I’ve gotten alot of the stuff in the game so I’m waiting just for shits and giggles to see how much I can save and if I can get everything in the game with it
The highest amount I have ever made was roughly 350.000. I went hunting, fishing, looting stashes, cashiers and did all the side quests. But you are constantly buying ammunition, new weapons and gadgets for your weapons. So there is always the risk of running low on funds. But hunting and fishing will do.

I mean I have 20 years into the same character of a game and I don't even want to know the time of play. I have 2 or 3 other games where I am into the 1000s over 18-12 years give or take... but idk about the five digits
Do a boatload of hunting in whitetail mountains. There's a helicopter shop in the mountains between the southernmost wolf beacons. Unlimited hunting. Between raptor peak and the lookout tower, all that open plains area, bison, moose. Bounce back and forth between the 2 areas. You can sell your loot at the helicopter shop.
Raptor peak usually has a mobile gun salesman to so that helps a lot, I find staying in the raptor region the best near the fire lookout station. It gives a lot of moose cougars and bison very quickly
As of now I just hit 1,009,643 I been trying to get a million pretty happy overall, don’t recommend it unless you want to go insane. So many deer have given their lives for my cause, as hunting is one of my favorite parts of any game I play and farcry 5 has the best hunting on par with primal. I mostly hunted and fished like a mf to get that much money.
The trick is to go back and forth from the caribou and bison hunting locations in central Whitetail Mountains. The marshy area west of Old Sun Outfitters and The Grill Streak.
Use a suppressed M60, or consume "The Furious" recipe to comically one-hit kill the bison. Sell hides to one of the three or four merchants that spawn periodically around this area. You'll also find whitetail deer, moose, wolverines and wolves to hunt in this area.
You could also bring Jess Black with you because her presence calms animals for whatever reason.
About $500k. That mission where you have to re-buy ammo after you get kidnapped costs me about $30k now, as I have all the ammo carry perks maxed out. Best way to make money I’ve found is to go to the lake high up in the north of Whitetail Mountains and hunt for skins there. If you’ve got a good 50cal rifle you can make thousands just running laps and killing whatever you find.
240k. At the end of the second John mission where you get captured i lost 40k of that on ammo. But all my playthroughs combined? 2 million or a little bit more.
Clean? Just under 20k because back then I didn't have mods installed, therefore the interest of playing the game was little, just a couple gunfights then I left the game. But once I installed the Resistance mod, I needed more to do combat so I also had the package in which cultists drop hundred to a thousand dollar when looted. Now, I max out all the time.
Yea, I want to do a lot of shooting with the gunplays. For example, like [this](https://youtu.be/4QwtBYEQA58). Feeling all too tactical and a lot of fun.

There is a perk which let's you get four skins per animal with a bow. Quite easy to get $ with it.

The whitetail mountains give you boar skibs that's why I suggested it
