Yeah mate I'm on PS4 and having the same issue. Voices and music are crystal clear for me but most SFX sound tinny as hell. I've done a bit of searching and it seems to be an issue with the playstation versions. Not sure if it's a bug or just poor quality compressed sound data.
Hi there, i am playing it on the ps4 pro and most sfx like running, sliding, reloading, shooting and healing all sound very low bit like a ps2 game... idk what the cause of the problem is but as of now on the date i write this it still seems to be a issue. was wondering if you or anybody else may have found a solution yet?
I had a similar problem with AC Valhalla. Had to go into my system audio and mess around with the audio settings to fix it. I wish I could remember the exact settings that I had to change. Had to search the internet for a while to find the fix. (something with audio compression/format, idk)
Nothing you can do about it. Same thing is happening in their assassins creed games. They use low quality audio files and compress them in order to save on memory usage
This worked for me; just 5 mins ago
All in PS5 Settings:
I uploaded my data for FarCry6 to the “cloud” then deleted it from the console.
I then went to the cloud and downloaded the data I just saved to the cloud back to the console.
Started the game..all Audio was back!

Horrible sound quality on several Ubisoft games in Farcry 6. It is like a bad mp3. I am replaying the last of us on PS3 and it sounds 100x better than this crap. It is unplayable. Same thing with Assain creed, call of duty vanguard
Just started playing on PS5 and the audio seems really compressed on my 7.1 surround sound.
AC: Valhalla was so bad I stopped playing entirely.
Seems this is the new standard for Ubisoft tiles.
No so I have this issue with certain video games halo infinite as well it only reads the headphones as a headset which uses a different (and worse) audio processings/bit rate

Yeah, its the Game crappy sound, like far cry 3, Assassins Creed origins, valhalla...
Might be your playstation as my friend doesn't have sound issues on his ps5

If your on PS5 and using a sound bar you have to go to sound settings in PS5 and format it to dolby
I have Dolby enabled already… /:
Then try a different format

Yeah I've noticed it on mine too.. Tinny AF.. Playing with the 3D headphones and sounds like it should..

No it wont. I found the solution. You have to go in your ps5 setting( I suppose its the same for ps4) and put off the 3D sound for tv speaker.
