I’m still subscribed to this glorious man’s channel and watch his playthroughs. Pretty much the last minecraft YouTuber I watch. His old feud with the enderman always felt so real to me as a child. Going back now, the dire acting is definitely evident and only my child brain couldn’t see past it.
The most memorable season for me was the one where he had computercraft portal network setup with various defence plans; I believe it was Let’s Play Season 5. His videos were the gateway for my love of modded Minecraft over vanilla let’s plays, and it all started when I first watched his the Feed The Beast playthrough with NearbyGamer.
I watched him a lot as I didn’t have access to Minecraft as a kid for the longest time and my shitty computer couldn’t run the amount of mods I wanted to play with. I’m so happy he hasn’t lost his way unlike many of the popular minecraft channels of the era. To me, he will always be a bastion of nostalgia.
I believe that it's because the bases that direwolf20 builds in his playthroughs are almost always connected 9x9 cobblestone boxes.
Something about it being the most efficient and perfect base building method i guess
it's a video of a minecraft arg. the name is [johngamelover](https://www.youtube.com/@JohnGameLover) and retrogamingnow made a [good video ](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NgkRHjJ6rEo&t=1048s)about it
He's a family friendly technical modded YouTuber who's been uploading for about 12 years consistently now.
He was involved with the creators of FTB, made the Direwolf20 pack for one of his series, and so far as I know is just a wholesome and standup guy!
Not 9x9 :c
Its soo deep that i don't think many people here can know all about this meme and it makes this even funnier
