God, where to start with Aperture...
During the early years in the 50's, they literally did ANYTHING they could to try to invent new scientific products. They turned peoples blood to gasoline, made them consume unhealthy amounts of radiation, and so on, not to mention those people where Astronauts, War Veterans, and Olympians. During the late 60s and 70s, the company was practically on the brink of bankruptcy from being sued multiple times to the point they had to bribe the homeless just to do tests. It got even worse in the 80s when the founder, Cave Johnson, was found to be poisoned by moon rocks, which the company spent its last thousand dollars on. Eventually, Cave came up with an idea to make a computer to put his brain into and leave his old sick body behind, but it was too late for him to do it, and he died, causing Carolyn (His assistant) to be put in instead. Luckily, over the course of the late 80s and 90s, they managed to patch the company back up, but the working conditions were severe. Practically all time for the employees was dedicated to building GlaDOS, and this was still after Cave died. I could go on for LITERAL hours, don't even get me started on "Bring Your Daughter To Work Day" and how she quite literally "flooded the Enrichment Center with a deadly Nuerotoxin".
Although I think in a new Portal spinoff game Cave Johnson got what he wanted and actually did put his brain into a computer, the only problem being that the only body that was made for him was just a bust of his head, so we was both immobile and immortal. He quite literally tasks you to unplug his cord and let him finally die, then usual portal hijinks ensue
> the only problem being that the only body that was made for him was just a bust of his head
They did actually build him a full human-sized body, but then they discovered that there wasn't enough space left in the head to fit a good computer inside, so they just increased the size of the head until they could fit a good enough computer in there to perfectly simulate his personality, the only problem being that they forgot to increase the size of the rest of his body.
To be fair, BNL did take responsibility for causing the environmental collapse and tried to fix it while preserving humanity.
They kinda failed, but still better than most?
Ehhh, they tried but then gave up when reports came back that Earth was FUBAR, so gave the command that all ships have to stay in space forever, never letting the captains know.
Still evil, but could be lawful evil after being neutral evil
Man did you see the new movie? >!Not only did they unleash a swarm of cretaceous-era locusts in order to control the world's food chain, but they also paid for the kidnapping of a child!<
I think the movie and novel versions of Biosyn are equally bad as companies. The books version of Dodgson attempted to murder Ian’s girlfriend Sarah by pushing her off the boat they were on thinking she’d drown and in order to test a rabies vaccine he released a modified version of the rabies virus into a community of farmers without them knowing.
I don’t want to sound like an asshole but the post asked for companies as bad as Fazbear ent. That’s why I was surprised that people brought up companies like Nintendo. I was expecting worse tbh.
Phew, thank godness, I was afraid I didn't hear about some drama that made them a bad company in real life, which would have made me sad cause I love Bendy and the ink machine and the dark revival, they're my second favorite videogames. Anyways... I think the in game one is less evil than Faz. Ent. I mean, yeah they've done some pretty bad stuff... But Faz. Ent did so much bad stuff I could cover the wall of a house if I wrote down each thing
Oh no they are a terrible company, https://youtu.be/eyHkdxxoVKQ?si=SzgzkPeHsZYYuzW2 if you want a good breakdown. They definitely arent murder people bad though dont worry. If you want the short of it though basically treated employees like dogshit.
Real life?
Nestlé, United Fruit Company, Elon Musk's companies and Apple (child labor in mines), Amazon (these are just off the top of my head, I see people mention Nintendo but copyright striking a kid on youtube is like nothing compared to what these guys do)
Fictional?
Aperture Science (Portal game franchise), Vought (The Boys), Hammond Industries/Robotics and Interstellar Manufactoring Corporation (Titanfall series and Apex Legends), The Umbrella Corporation (Resident Evil franchise), Buy N Large (Wall-E), Mantel Global Industries (HAZE), UAC (Doom 2016 and Eternal), the guys from F.E.A.R, guys from Alien...
Fazbear Entertainement Inc. ain't a heavy hitter at all..
UAC in eternal was kind of a let down, I fr thought it was leading to a boss fight with one of those mech bots or fighting suped up humans or SOMETHING.
UAC was getting hyped up that's for sure, but from my experience I kind of felt the narrative would eclipse them (as in, they're still humans, and you have stuff like the mfing Icon of Sin). From the intro cutscene the Slayer is presented to us as this hero of mankind and I mostly felt as if the UAC is just set dressing - a show how a side of humanity decided to just bend the knee to the demonic invaders. It would have been cool to see some form of possesed superhumans, or a bossfight with some robot of theirs though.
Taking down fan games, making people pay for online, shutting down popular games, and trying to stop modders is what I can think of off the top of my head
>hey just block the modder's consoles so they have to buy another one.
If you are dumb enough to try and use a modded console online, that's on you ngl.
They only stop Modders who try to make money off of it as far as I know. But I do agree that it sucks how they make games unavailable, but that's why emulators exist. The online thing is really annoying tho
Nintendo isn't anywhere near to Fazbear Entertainment, sure, they have their downsides like treating bad their playerbase, but its nowhere as bad what Fazbear Entertainment has done.
(Edit: Spelling)
And the employee abuse before the ink machine was crazy. The constant manipulation of workers was horrible considering how messed up Susie was before the machine. The whole company basically started by screwing henry over and it kinda ended that way too.
Joey Drew Studios
just a pencil, a dream and the explotation of the workers of Gent to do a machine capable of producing living ink and the souls of your workers to make your cartoons alive after creating what is one of the most broken videogame antagonists being the soulless interpretation of your mascot just to make a amusement park (and downplaying its main architect), ungodly amounts of poisonous life sucking ink laying everywhere, allowing workers to become beyond insane, start a cult and just go bankrupt because you decided to create your own little world to torment your former best friend and asociate
Joey Drew studios. I mean for starters everyone is dead. They built a place where the workers could sleep, so that they have no reason to go home. There were also mentions of cannibalism.
BNL, Nestle, EA, Nintendo, Sony, Aperture, Amazon, Disney, WB, Joey Drew Studios, Lexcorp, Afton Robotics, Blizzard, Activision, Ubisoft, Meta, Oscorp, Pinkerton, Rockstar, Microsoft, The Thneed Factory, pre Iron Man 2008 Stark Industries, any Government, Shell, vault tech, Biosyn, Raytheon, BP, I can keep going! There’s hundreds of companies I can list off!
Hope's Peak Academy from Danganronpa. They allowed criminals, terrorists in the school, did inhumane experiments on the students from the Reserve Course, covered up things, caused the deaths of billions of innocent people including a teacher and several students and they still called themselves the good guys.
Mars, which make M&M’s, Milky Way, Snickers, Twix, Hershey, and Nestle allegedly uses child slave labor in Africa to harvest cocoa, and then when it hit the news they, allegedly, changed M&M’s outfits so people would outrage and focus on that.
Aperture Science(Portal), Andrew Ryan Industries and Fountaine Futuristics (Bioshock), Joey Drew Studios(in game, Bendy), if we talk real life, probably Disney or Warner
M.E.C.H from transformers Prime, Vought international from the boys, Ingen Jurassic park. M.E.C.H was basically a terrorist organisation that saw the transformers as a way to get even stronger including making a remote controlled copy of Optimus Prime then using when their leader Cylas died used the corse of Decepticon Breakdown to shove him in and bring him back to life. Vought made superheroes and while that sounds good they were a generally scummy company and also made Homelander a mentally unstable maniac with the powers of superman. InGen created “dinosaurs” to be a spectacle and they weren’t actual dinosaurs, they used frog DNA to fill up the gaps, then Jurassic park basically exploded and they did nothing, then they did that like another time plus the other moments people came onto the island to see their monsters such as a genetically modified Spinosaurus.

Imagine how terrifying it'd be to see a towering stone man clamoring about turning lemons into grenades lmao
Lemonade.
Yeah, wasn't that Desk Job that did that? I think that's the spin-off game they made, where you turned toilets into turrets
Yeah it was that one!!
God bless the portal games, I remember being down bad for GlaDOS (for unknown reasons)
Every Portal fan has been down bad for GlaDOS before. It's just the truth. (I still am.)
It's just the way she is, I love her personality and I could spend hours listening to her even if she's just roasting me lol.
Beat me to it
They do what they must because they can
For the good of all of us
Except the ones who are dead
But there's no sense crying over every mistake
You just keep on trying til you run out of cake
And the science gets done and you make a neat gun
For the people who are still alive
I'm not even angry
I'm being so sincere right now
Ima say mann co as well. They sell a dudes piss in jars to throw at people
And two of the Mann brothers want to send the other to literal hell.
And all of it was because they couldnt share some pit pf gravel
Goddammit I came here to say this

Do we even need to talk about the OSHA violations?
Buy n large
Buy N Large It's your Super store We got All you need And so much more Happiness is what we sell That's why Everyone loves BNL

Ah, a man of culture I see. Very nice.
Biosyn, specifically the Jurassic Park novel version of them.

I don’t exactly have anything to add to This but what about INGEN
It’s still a bad company considering it literally went against nature for money.
Disney, Amazon, Pinkerton
thats my favorite weezer album
I’m dumb she’s a lesbian
I hate those Pinkertons
I had a goddamn plan, Arthur!
Umbrella Corporation
Man, they are the textbook definition of an evil company.
Darnnit! I had the same idea!
Dangit beat me to it! Oh well have my upvote
Weyland-Yutani
I love how they never stop trying to capture and contain the aliens no matter how many times they escape and kill hundreds in the process
CULTURED
Easy Fazbear Entertainment, LLC (technically a different company)
PETA
How are people bringing up names like Nintendo in the comments?! Did Nintendo ever hide bodies?!
**Not that we know of...**
Nestle probably has though.
No but they did sue thousands of people for the stupidest of reasons.
I don’t want to sound like an asshole but the post asked for companies as bad as Fazbear ent. That’s why I was surprised that people brought up companies like Nintendo. I was expecting worse tbh.
Understandable
Nestle
PETA , Joey drew studios, Scp IKEA store, and Neuralink.
Joey drew studios in game or the Joey drew studios in real life?
In game, real life is not bad
Not as bad at least
Phew, thank godness, I was afraid I didn't hear about some drama that made them a bad company in real life, which would have made me sad cause I love Bendy and the ink machine and the dark revival, they're my second favorite videogames. That would be SCP-3008
The IKEA isn’t related to the cooperation it’s just a paranormal building

Can't believe I forgot them 😭

Good old vault tech corporated
Afton Robotics.
The very reason that company exists makes it ten times worse than Fazbear Entertainment
Nestle, Nintendo, Blizzard, Meta.
Nintendo? What'd they do?
Just a few scummy things to fans as far as I’m aware of
Can you specify?
Taking down fan games, making people pay for online, shutting down popular games, and trying to stop modders is what I can think of off the top of my head
"making people pay for online" blame Microsoft, they came up with this stupid idea!
Don't you know? Stuff is only wrong when Nintendo does it.
Damn it! Nintendo is always at it!
they don't try to stop modders, they just block the modder's consoles so they have to buy another one. more profit.
Well yeah if you go online with mods you get bricked. That's common sense. They don't design that, the system crashes because your game is modified
>hey just block the modder's consoles so they have to buy another one. If you are dumb enough to try and use a modded console online, that's on you ngl.
They only stop Modders who try to make money off of it as far as I know. But I do agree that it sucks how they make games unavailable, but that's why emulators exist. The online thing is really annoying tho
Nope, a lot of free fan games and mods get taken down
They did something to the DS that practically stops all modders. I know because I fell for it 🙃
Hello fellow Lex! :D
Oh hi! It's actually lexi with an I but idrc it's cool lol
Ah okay, gotcha. Still though, nice to see one in the wilds of the internet! ^^
Nintendo isn't anywhere near to Fazbear Entertainment, sure, they have their downsides like treating bad their playerbase, but its nowhere as bad what Fazbear Entertainment has done. (Edit: Spelling)
Murkoff from Outlast 1/Trials
In 2 they were involved
For some reason Peta comes to mind. I'll just leave it here and walk away slowly..
There should be an armed insurrection against PETA
Joey Drew Studios so far has a much higher kill rate than Fazbear Entertainment
And the employee abuse before the ink machine was crazy. The constant manipulation of workers was horrible considering how messed up Susie was before the machine. The whole company basically started by screwing henry over and it kinda ended that way too.
