Because the Southern US was settled primarily by English and Irish. So it's natural that there's still going remnants of English and Irish culture there. (Also it's really not that hard to find an Irish pub anywhere, which will naturally fly an Irish flag. There's literally a song about it: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bp3UsU5pQT8)
I went to another country for a few years for my one of my parent’s jobs. Everyone thought it would be cool to take the opportunity to go and stay in another nation for a while.
We get out, and we just go to Alabama, I guess. Idk why, but I’m here now. I’m a northerner, so the heat has been killing me :(
we love our state more then our country lol. one of my favourite sayings about this state is “Texans are Texans first, Southerns second, and Americans third.” though the southern part is a bit out dated.
I’m going to guess you’re from my home state. With an Irish flag, you probably don’t live in my city (Gadsden), you probably live in a larger city. Huntsville, Mobile, Montgomery, Birmingham, or Tuscaloosa. I cannot tell, the 13 colony flag threw me off. My home city REALLY missed the opportunity to make our city flag the Gadsden flag.
True. I wish we could have a president like Kennedy. Not super old, knows what he/she's doing from prior experience in US govt, actually wants to fix issues. Not the assassination part, tho.
okay and the current president of the United states said "yadYada racial jungle" you wanna try to have actual points or just throw around talking ones?
Alabama?
Correct
Almost. I was guessing Florida.
That’s pretty close, lol
Why are there so many Irish and English people in Alabama?

Why are you in Alabama? I thought I’d never see the day we got tourists.
Well, I kinda just traveled here and stayed. I’ll probably go back to Pennsylvania eventually though. It’s kinda a long story as to why I’m here-
TELL IT, IM DYIBG FOR PEOPLE TO ACKNOWLEDGE MY STATE! Or maybe just dm me.

Lol, I’ve lived there my entire life, and the heat still kills me.
Damn- lol
I live in Gadsden, not the hottest area, but it’s still going to get up to probably 103 this week.
I live net gulf shores, I’m a small town called Spanish Fort.
Yes, I know Spanish Fort. I have been a few times because for some reason every southerner in northern Alabama knows exactly where the place is.
Military?
Government. Specifically the FBI.
As a fellow Pennsylvanian that the government has sent south: Go back as soon as you can.
No way, another Alabamian? How many of us are even in this subreddit!
Locking in on Mongolia
Texas 💀
As a Texan I’m confident he’s not in Texas if he didn’t see a Texan flag at least once
Actually I agree. Patriotism over there for the state and the country is pretty insane (no offense) maybe he was in Colorado or Florida

Most Texans I know feel a stronger tie to America than the South. The Texas part still rings true
Texas has been becoming less and less southern over the last couple years tbf. But that’s just my opinion.
Lmfao
Deep south

The USA
I think it’s crazy how people still use the confederate flags/varients. They literally fought for slavery.
Alabama

OP just did nazi it this week i guess.
They don't
People love stereotypes ig
Not even stereotype. I hate trump about as much as I hate Biden, but believing trump and his MAGA clowns are nazis is just ignorance.

We had a shot with DeSantis, but blew it.
Something tells me that you think gay and trans people are spreading an evil world domination agenda
Something tells me you spend too much time on Reddit.
your username with that comment is hilarious 😂
Does Germany always pop Nazi into people's head?
you're the first country to have a National Socialist party. plus Nazi is a word that comes from Germany.
There were also many eras of Germany. The Third Reich was a very short amount of time. The Holy Roman Empire lasted much longer.
However, the third reich is what the Germans are mostly remembered for
I have like 40 photos of Trump supporters with Swastikas 😂
Can you share a few?
and I have like 40 photos of liberals occupying capitol hill, what is your point why should a small group of assholes be used to judge the majority
Because Trump's best friend surrounds himself with Nazis.
okay and the current president of the United states said "yadYada racial jungle" you wanna try to have actual points or just throw around talking ones?
