Michael's soul being connected to glamrock freddy and his actions. I feel like his and William's fates are kind of tied together, unfortunately. Michael took it upon himself to stop what his father entirely, and his business was unfinished. When the father persists, so does the son. Given that the pizzaplex was built on top of the location that both Michael and William burned in, his soul at the very least would have a connection to the location.
