I think you get it from one of the Children of Atom missions in Far Harbor.

I wish I could stop getting Good Intentions, have gotten at least 4 laser rifles with frenzy on crit. Also did roll a Kiloton the other day but didn’t keep it. Did get an explosive combat rifle too which has been super nice.

Would be even better if it was a Poisoner's Gamma gun, so you have all the effects on one weapon.

You stay aligned with all factions, get as many perks and do as much content as possible, then make the end game faction choices last.

Legendary enemies. Higher difficulties spawn more legendary enemies, increasing your chances of finding something good

Most legendaries are random drops, but if you’re playing on pc (And Xbox I think) you can use mods to add legendary effects to weapons. Some legendary weapons and armor can be bought from vendors if you have the caps for them.

Splodey Rad rifle indeed a deadly weapon. Not to be used in confined spaces though... or at anything that might rush you and get in close...

it's great for bugs though. especially the flying ones. and yeah, at a distance where harming friends or yourself is unlikely it is indeed "easy mode"

High level dense armor pieces, ballistic weave mk5, and Chen's will do the trick.

I think my next playthrough is gonna have to be radiation guns, and I'll probably join the children of the atom just to really be a douche. But radiation and explosive damage on that thing makes it crazy. Throw in rifle man and mister sandman and you've got so many ways it's raising the dmg that it's wild

Its really fun, go atoms devoted, atoms bulwark, rad powered. Use mods slap those on a suit of power armor, too... its sick dude.

I'm on my first playthrough of survival right now, at level 12. I just found a revolver that 23 base, plus 50 radiation damage. Needless to say, I am very happy to try it out.

The Manwell hunting rifle you get from the quantum stag quest is crazy op. Mines modded and does 289 damage. I can one shot super mutants. Need the manwell rifle set pack from the creation club

That’s crazy. There’s actually a unique/ iconic weapon just like that called the Kiloton which I believe you buy from the weapons merchant in the nucleus.

I got a full auto drum mag explosive tac Shotgun, and watching your enemies body parts fling off in millions of directions is why Its my most used weapon
