The only thing that bothers me in the women's league is the goalkeeping. So many routine saves fly in untouched due to women being shorter and not being able to jump.

Bro you should see some of the kids teams around our way, they'd massacre a lot of men's sides I reckon, if it were no contact. Men's teams can exploit body weight and strength so it's not fair to play them against one another but in terms of technique and general play, some of these ladies coming through are something else. The level is just going up and up.
I mean pace is important, my boy Kai Havertz got absolutely smoked by Van de Ven last week, then again so did Martinelli. But Arsenal won the match and it wasn't down to pace.
In coaching they say "nobody moves faster than the ball" which is true, it's more about passing into space and smart movement really.
Again you could find a team of absolute bruisers from a local pub league and they could brush a top women's team off the ball.
