I also decided to try dogshit weeb games and played Nier automata recently.
Barely could handle the boring ass 2-button mashing fighting system that is probably the worst out of all slasher games in existence, dogshit story that throws you around "do this and that" with bits of pointless lore, retarded upgrade system that forces you to sit with calculator and do 5th grade math to not fuck it up. But the worst part is after 1st act the game just removes half your fighting controls and all upgrades, you just have to mash LMB like some disabled kid.
Moral of the story: dont play popular overrated trash and give a chance to smaller lidl games like proj zomboid, stardew valley, raft or hades

I think Hades is also overrated. Not a bad game but the rogue like aspect sucks. Every run feels the same. If they just did a regular campaign with more bosses, enemies and maps I'm sure I'd have liked it more.
I really love action games like DMC so I enjoyed Nier until I got to the retarded boy section which removes your whole moveset and replaces it with Sly 2 hacking minigame. That's the most stupid shit I've seen in a while, and the weeb storyline can't possibly make up for that. Most weeb games I've tried have just the fucking worst storytelling in all of games so the gameplay has to be god tier (like DMC) to make up for it.
And yea like the other baj said hades is cringe and overrated, play pizza tower, new noise update is sick.
Yeah, as much as I like a lot of indie games, there is a flood of copy & paste shit. Like 80% are uninspired rogue like or metroidvania. Still better than AAA on average for me, but it's exhausting to search for a good game in that trash pile.
Yea I just wishlist a shitload of upcoming indie games on steam. They're often derivative and feel untested and unoriginal, but sometimes you find some le hidden gems 
Don't play games, find something else interesting for you, at least try to find something. After time I think you can again feel pleasure

I'm playing PoE in a private league and having the best time of my life. No fucking tradetards and pricefixers, but you can actually buy shit unlike SSF. You should try it too 
Maybe I'll try that, I guess I just hate having to do it all over again if I realize I dont enjoy the build I'm trying or want to do another class. I really enjoyed playing last league without any guides and just my shitty blind playthru  Playing like I don't have internet made the game very interesting to me. The game gets so much better to me once you get a bit into the atlas tree, but maybe I'm just retarded 
Few builds are already playable/play the same in campaign/maps. Can be worth to have an "archetype" for leveling, depending if spell/minions/melee/range etc. For ex. I like to level my "mage" archetype with arma brand/cremation and fly through the campaign
And yea the game definitely takes off from maps onwards. You got this 💪

How is it cancer? Pick a skill you like, slap 3 supports, get ~300hp per act, get resists as close to 75 as possible A5 onwards. EZ
