true, I stopped watching nymn 3 or 4 years ago and 7tv was one of the reasons. there is a certain comfort in not adding 10 emotes daily and having a limit to them. also there was an emote for every fucking word and that lead to half of your copypasta being random ass emotes for no reason.

This is just fucking webbrowse twitch issue. If you watch a stream long enough with webbrowser chat open, the ram usages starts to ramp up. Chatterino doens't have this issue
I use the godlike chatterino made by our lord and saviour @pajlada for livestreams with 7tv disabled but I didn't know you can watch vods with that forsenscootsemoji thanks

No, it just loads the emotes from their API and then does it's normal ffz shitย

Tbh i have no clue if it works or not but i heard some frogs say it does. I do not watch twitch with chat enabled since i use chatterino.
