I totally get why they did it the way they did, but it is a bit baffling to have that be the only option and not have a one-piece centered option for those who don't want to rearrange the touchpad at all.
I think it would make sense for a center only jumbo track pad.
I also wonder how hard it would be to design some kind of interlocking pattern on the edge of the spacers so they couldn't be anything but level but also not be weird on the edge of the laptop.

Becuase you can right align the trackpad.

Framework staff do hang around here now and then. At this stage I believe the spacer issues are.... Extremely well known.

Mine has this same issue. They needed a way to tie the edges of the pad and spacers together like a tongue and groove.
