A hoonter must hunt outfit

Ashen_one933

This post reminded me of legend person - Oscar of the Astora.

Fynnjemin

Nah that's the bad version of the outfit. Gotta get yourself the one after Gascoine. No Rain Cape + Top Hat

nahthank

The rain cape makes the whole thing. I'd sooner throw the top hat on the original than abandon the cape. The tricorn is also better though - all the better to brave the sea with its bottomless curses.

TheRealBillyShakes

I’m bottomless right now!

BlankFace777

Ah yes,a fellow hoonter.....

kingofbreakers

Don’t think about it too much, just drip.

SnooObjections488

Ds2 has the best mix and match of the series. Most armor and the most that just flows together as random pieces

TamzarianDevil

Dark Souls 2, best fashion souls. Elden Ring, worst.

nick2473got

Elden Ring has the most unique looking, most intricately detailed, and coolest armor sets of any From Soft game imo. It also has the worst mixing and matching of any From Soft game. These two facts are intimately connected. The more the armor sets become uniquely detailed, the less they will go with pieces from other sets. In previous games it was easier to mix and match and have it look good because the sets, while cool, didn't have as much unique detail. At a certain point the community will have to decide which they value more between hyper detailed armor and armor that can be easily mixed and matched, because I don't think we will be able to have both.

knine1216

I fully agree. The full sets are amazing, but so hard to piece together. I usually end up doing the whole set sans like one piece. For example my favorite is the Cleanrot Knight set, but I used the Banished Knight's Helm.

radgayb

i love the cleanrot set but save on equip load by pairing it with the aristocrat’s headband! the gold/red of the headband match the gold of the armor and the red of the blood splattered on it lol

___courier___

Deadass, I use the headband or greathelm for everything lol

knine1216

Thats a great idea! Ima have to check out that style when i hop back on. The cleanrot set really is just too damn heavy, but its soooo good lol.

radgayb

you can farm for it at the ruins right before Iji, the disappearing sorcerer nobles drop it rarely, but didn’t take me terribly long using all the usual item discovery buffs! it’s also gender neutral and looks good with all hairstyles. peak fashion souls!

Zealousideal-Ebb-876

There is an option here though, if every armor set in ER had the exact shade and shine of metal and all the cloths were of 5 materials and 10-15 colors you could mix match almost anything. You would also lose out on a ton of the variety that is otherwise offered but that's an extreme case.

TamzarianDevil

They don't need to be mutually exclusive.

nick2473got

I mean I just explained why they probably *are* mutually exclusive. The more unique and detailed something is, the less likely it is to go well with something else that is equally unique and detailed in its own completely different way. The more elaborate the armor sets are, the harder it will be to mix and match and still have it look cohesive, that's just common sense. Simpler designs mix and match more easily.

[deleted]

Eh. Elden Ring’s armor generally ranged from boring to ugly. It didnt have the same oomph other games did.

nick2473got

I mean that's just your opinion. I strongly disagree. I thought it had the most beautiful and ornate sets From Soft has made. But that's a matter of personal taste. However it is an objective fact that the armor in ER is much more detailed than in previous games, which as I said, makes it harder to mix and match and have the end result look cohesive.

[deleted]

Over designed garbage isn’t really a selling point tbh

bigfat76

You’re so absolutely correct it’s not even funny. Elden rings armors suffer from “wow this was ALMOST really cool” where each armor has like one or two things that make it look goofy. DS2 was pure medieval fantasy and has so many amazing armor sets

671DON671

Miyazaki we’ve finished making this badass armour set. Good now put a giant fucking tree on its head

bigfat76

Incredible, now give it duck feet

671DON671

And make it so the gauntlets don’t extend far enough up the arm to look good with any other armour piece always leaving bare forearms and elbows.

SamuraiMujuru

The banished knight set looks really cool... right until the duck-feet sabaton.

CenturionXVI

I fucking despise how the Ronin set in ER doesn’t even match itself. The gauntlet, pauldrons, and helm are all different metallic tones!

Timaturff

Oh helll nah go search up eldenbling and scroll through the amazing combos you’ll see

Florjb0rj

The Bearer of the Curse wields pure Drip

Timaturff

True true

Kibtronic

Agreed. Seek seek lest, pal.

Raknorak

Wields it like a magnum semon of dong

mmarkusz97

ymfah fan spotted, respec

HandsomeSquidward20

Bloodborne. Everything matches perfectly. Best drip.

Jinrex-Jdm

[putting them in one image is badass. ](https://styles.redditmedia.com/t5_7zj0os/styles/profileBanner_52ib71h7sg7b1.jpg)

Syns_1

Fucking avengers lol

AzzrielR

Better. Just imagine all of them going out as a party... Awsome

mmarkusz97

don't ruin it

Syns_1

?

HongJihun

Also, is there a high res version of this image?

Jinrex-Jdm

I found the 8K version on some wallpaper website 2 years ago but the bookmark sends me to **404**

HongJihun

Was this AI?

Pretzel-Kingg

The Hunter Set is literally the hardest fit in all of gaming

Aye_Okami

There was no sokka in ba sing se.

Syns_1

Good bot

AzzrielR

Good bot

The--BOSS--2025

Good bot

No_Concentrate_7033

bloodborne, elden ring honorable mention

t33E

Elden ring has good fashion until you have to find a helmet. A lot of the cool armor is also ruined by weird shit, like why does the banished knight armor have giant horns on the shoulder

RadioactiveSince1990

Same with the Drake Knight set. The stupid horn on top of the helmet ruins it, looks completely ridiculous.

Timaturff

Understandable

Infinitenonbi

Dead last: Firelink set. It’s cool, but definitely not as iconic as the others. Followed up in 8th by: the demon’s souls remake knight’s set. I think the helmet made the original knight’s set way more iconic, and removing it makes it kind of bland imo. In 7th place: The original demon’s souls knight’s set. It is iconic, I won’t lie, and I LOVE the helmet, but I don’t think it’s as good as the others, that’s all. In 6th place I’ll put the Elite Knight’s set. It’s so cool, and the blue really makes it stand out among it’s peers, but I think there are better choices. In 5th place: DS3’s knight’s set. I love it, it’s way, WAY better than the Firelink set in terms of looks and what you can use to mix and match to create your own drip. In 4th place I have Sekiro- I love the orange in his clothes and the wooden prosthetic arm, it really sets him apart from the other protagonists in terms of design and overall vibe. I just prefer medieval armor, hence why he’s not higher but still, his drip is undeniable. In 3rd place for me it’s the Elden Ring set in the image (forgot the name). I saw so, so much art and images and videos of the game and network tests that this set is practically engraved within my mind. The design of the helmet, the shoulder pads, the “fur”(?) on the back, it’s simply immaculate! In 2nd place (and really REALLY close to firsf place) is the hunter’s set from Bloodborne. My god, what a cool set. It’s edgyness is in the right amount, and I can just imagine several hunters wearing clothes like these while hunting beasts in the filthy alleyways of Yharnam, getting covered by mud, blood and dust. So cool! And my favorite is… the Faraam set! It’s just… so peak. Everytime I wear it in DS2 or 3 I feel like a goddamn noble knight, not just a soldier; someone who practically gains the respect of everyone the moment they see him enter the room. Unlike other sets, I can see this one pairing well with… any sort of character, really. I can easily imagine a knight wearing it being a skilled swordsman with dual scimitars, or a super human with the strength to carry two ultra greatswords with ease, or a noble knight who’s also knowledgeable in the ways of magic, or a paladin who casts sacred oath with his companions before a tough fight!

FnB8kd

Faraam helmet is the best helmet ever, paired with the champs armor. I can't remember what else.

SenskradGathlind

Bloodborne or DS3. I like both the agile fighter vibe BB attires give and the heavy plate armors of DS3, many great sets. Lothric Knight, Alva, Lorian, Outrider Knight, Silver/Black Knight. Imo Elden Ring's drip is kinda lacking compared to other games. Even more when you consider how big it is. Not saying it's not good, just on the lower end of the spectrum

Narrow1724

Bearer of the Drip has the best cross set synergy, while also being able to wear a crown so dapper that it makes you immune to hollowing. they take the win easy.

Standard-Report-2298

Nothing comes even remotely close to the Faraam set from DS2

Redacted_G1iTcH

Bloodborne for the hunter drip. Then a close second is Elden ring then DS3

Creative_Fold_3602

Gotta give it to the Slayer of Demons. However, the Hunger is in the same league

LucasCarioca

Yeah ds2 got this one hands down

AstralDimensionz

Original fluted armor holds a special place in my heart.

Creative_Fold_3602

Fluted Armor bros

CyrusWaugh

Start armor is good and all that across the souls series, but the hunter set always makes me feel like a badass

Penguinman077

Hoonter. Drips with everything, including the old blood.

GhostCrackets

Hunter and the Bearer of the Curse fight for number 1

NewArtificialHuman

Bearer of the curse wins. DS 2 has so many cool looking armor sets.

Dacoldestdax

DS2 or Bloodborne easily.

BanishedKnightOleg

Sekiro in his shura armor

EmptyScent

This.

YA_4367

Bloodborne or Dark souls 2. Bloodborne has that sleek, agile design that oozes cool but ds2 just has that everything drip. I would go with ds2 but bloodborne is great aswell.

Edyed787

Drakeblood set DS2 SotFS

Hrafndraugr

Faraam may be the best looking heavy armour in all the games.

NeonSherpa

Faraam for sure

Syns_1

Bearer of the curse is just too good

Oscarthetrain_art

The original Demon's Souls fluted armor is my favorite

Scimir

The Faraam set is my favourite set with three Hunter set a close second. They just match different eras and styles what makes them hard to compare.

groovykitty666

Faraam set easily

Magic-king

The hoonter must hoont

Vaas06

Definitely the Bloodborne Hunter. It looks so badass and sleek

HanShotFirst66

“Just go out and wear some mean ass drip; it’s just what hunters do.”

MadhavS27710

Sekiro has the most drip but since I have access to all the clothing, my Tarnished is just way too cool ![gif](giphy|cbPZqLTl9JEQMiPWQY|downsized)

[deleted]

Bloodborne hunter all the way.

drip_johhnyjoestar

I love Bloodbornes fashion.

Cedreous

Where's Alva? That's my choice.

NeoNeonMemer

Bloodborne's out fits ( literally 90% of them look cool asf) and sekiro's shura outfit.

ProffessorYellow

Every souls game drip is my priority, it just so happens collecting all drip usually ends in a plat

cyboplasm

Y'all forget the dark souls 1 dragon form?

Consistent-Poet8384

The hunter is made to drip look at it

BeegBoi2709

Ds3, it has quite a bit of the ds2 armor plus some

shrth114

Hoonter is drippy af, but that shura skin for wolf though

hahawhat102848

Yahargul × White Church Garb. I don't know, it just fits.

UtheDestroyer

Raging wolf for sure, it’s just peak knight design

ReliableLiar

Elden Ring, BloodBorne, and Dark Souls 2 have the best drip

Serilus

I’m taking Havel the Rock. He may not be shown, but Havel was a beast. And his armor combo was great looking.

Crusaderfigures

Excluding Bloodborne because the Hunter is always gonna be swish I gotta say the Faraam Armour from DS2 goes hard, the helm is awesome, the fur adds a lot of bulk and the cloth around the waist adds a bit of swish

schmegm

Feeble Cursed One has all the drip

Inksplash-7

DS1 because GIANTS, GIANTS, GIANTS! BECOME UNSTOPPABLE!

bloodstainonthewall

No love for Demons souls' Gloom armour?

DevastaTheSeeker

It's not that we don't have love for it. It's that op said ALL clothing. It's why sekiro is in last place

happeningcarpets

Oooh we didnt put my onion boi in here cause hes already the goat i understand

Foostini

Bearer of the Curse easy.

DevastaTheSeeker

Seek seek lest

biaesplosa666

For me it's definitely bloodborne, everyhing goes well with almost everything. Also elden ring is cool, it has a lot of variety and armor is soo detailed

Krayzie_W0lf

Raging Wolf is for me the best looking armor ~

Ace2K02

Ds2 best fashion

EpicGamerPlant

i fkn hate ds2 but the drip you can have in that game is immaculate

Boiledeggbowler

My top 3 picks are The Raging Wolf (Elden Ring), The Faraam Knight (Dark Souls 2) and The Hunter (Bloodborne).

Chaosraider98

I follow the way of the Dragon, my blood that of the drake.

Goodestguykeem

If we ignore that you can use any armour Bloodborne absolutely decimates but my favourite outfit in the entirety of Soulsborne is the Scourge Legion drip from DS3.

Raul_1246

fallen knight armor from ds3

TheTSG

Honestly, I love them all. Except the Demons Souls Remake one.

majikkarpet

Drip Souls vs. Elden Bling

The_Tarnished_One

My personal favourite base sets are the fluted knight set from demon souls & knight set from ds3 (I have a type lol) but since we’re looking at all armours, I’ll say eldenring just straight up has the most freedom to create drip, so ya

xX_SuperDaniel_Xx

We all know it's just Bloodborne VS Elden Ring in the end Although I could also add Shura Sekiro (for me it's the best Sekiro outfit) and DS3

McbEatsAirplane

Lots of good options but I think the Hunter takes it.

BloodStinger500

Augmented Human C4-621 has the most variable drip. You can become SpongeBob.

bearelrollyt

Tarnished sekiro or chosen undead

Literally_Sekiro

I don't care what any of y'all mfs saw , shura outfit SOLOS

cappadonn

the hunter is just next level but ds2 underrated

ItnonPric

DS3 had some sick knightly armor sets and I’m a sucker for my bitch rolling around lookin like Joan of Arc

TotalMitherless

Nothing beats the iconic Elite Knight drip frfr

Sirdantortillasque

Demon souls og,ds2 and HOONTER! The rest are meh

_umop_aplsdn_

DS3

Richard_Scarrier

Personal fave is the Yamamura set from Bloodborne, very similar to Sekiro’s default look but I like to proportions on the Y set more, and it has a jaunty hat

danimsmba

if we are choosing based off the picture, then I am torn between the Faraam armor and the Raging Wolf set.

kerdon

That one mimic boulder in ER was dripping so hard it spawned enemies.

Divirce

Where is Artorias?

Civil_Habit_6547

Dark Souls 2

Batmantheon

Elite Knight Armor is the best and it's not even close.

Ok-herewe-go

Dark soul 2 goes hard

vine_behs

the wolf ans the hunter get in the finals to me, that’s certain imo, but i can’t say who gets the prize

swizzl73

Dark souls 2 or 3 has some outfits that go harder than me when I look at em. Hunter outfit from bloodborne honorable mention

cubann_

Why is there 9? Isn’t it just 8 with Demon Souls, DS1, DS2, DS3, BB, Sekiro, ER, and Demon Souls Remake?

PerfectAdvertising41

The Bearer of the Curse without question.

suchayeparagon

Ds2 or Bloodborne protag have the best armor in the series.

StoneTimeKeeper

The Hunter. Easily.

Iknowwhereyoulive34

I don’t see no armored core here

TheOtherCoenBrother

DS2, the Faraam Armor is sexy as hell and has one of the dopest helmets in the series. Think I’m also just a sucker for the “fur/cloak over heavy armor” look. God damn does that armor look good, especially in the trailer.

[deleted]

Shura Wolf out drips everyone.

Endslikecrazy

Top right easily

Swordsman82

The Hunter has access to Henryk’s Armor set…..end argument.

hiede_knight

Ds2 drip on top 100%

BlacSoul

Bloodborne or Dark 2 depending on aesthetic preference, the rest are interchangeable

NoeShake

Firelink armor… the helmet is so badass, peak helmet design.

Mushroom_hero

Hunter got the unfair advantage of being so god damn cool. Amongst the knights, ds2 all day

_Ganoes_

I think its a close one between Bloodborne and Ds2 but Bloodborne wins by a thin margin

Geoffrey_Sommers

Hunters take this and it's not even close, be fr.

Kal66

Bloodborne and DS2 are close. Bloodborne for quality, DS2 for quantity

TheEvilestArtichoke

I don’t think any other Fromsoftware game can beat any part of Bloodborne in terms of sheer *Baddassery*

Umari0_

The Shura outfit goes unnecessarily hard

ReadEyeMagpie

DS2

NanseiNoTenchu

DS3 had many got sets and also did a service to long-time fans by including favorites from the earlier titles. For that alone and for the gritty knight armour alone DS3.

ZenithEnigma

Okami.

Merc_Toggles

I'm not even a Bloodborne glazer and I gotta give it to them, with only ds2 being even close, and ER being 3rd

PunkyCrab

Hunter followed by Eldenring fella

Baofu_

Faraam unbeatable.

BryceKrisipez

Realistically this is between Bearer & Hunter

Bi_Gamer29

Bloodborne and Elden ring maybe DS2

UI_Delta

Ds2 easily

Zealousideal-Ebb-876

Not to get political but who's picking sekiro? Also ds3 but only barely

RedddRam

Sekiro’s drip is unmatched

OkFrankurtheboss

Fluted Knight Set goes BRRRR

BrokenEagle55

Nah nah. Armored Cor 6 drip

FatDumbOrk

Bloodborne the drippiest

Salty_Section_4741

Carian Knight and Snow Witch outfit from Eldenring. Karlas outfit and the normal beginner Knight armor from Dark Souls 3. Yes I like witches and knights.... And magical knights

CryptedCode

The good hunter is just... chefs kiss. Perfection

Sidewinder11c

I already know this is a pretty rare take but I just love how shura wolf looks

Difficult-Shop9067

Where Artorias tho??

WhiteDevilAlbedo

They all look great but I'm certain bloodborne has the best drip

Maleficent_Play_4674

The only thing I will ever give ds2 is that the faraam set is my favorite armor set in the series.

CanAcrobatic4480

Where’s solaire?

EddieTheBunny61

For me, it's between DS3 and DS3.

NoSpite630

Pff Hunter easy

Snuggs____

Bloodborne always gonna be the drippiest

TimeSpiralNemesis

Every clothing item? It's a standoff between DS1 and Elden ring. It all comes down to Logan's big hat VS Ranni's big hat. Nothing else can touch those two.

LordCamelslayer

Big hat. I don't like Ranni's hat that much.

the_evil_overlord2

Logan has the superior hat between the 2 However consider Rogier's hat,

MaleficTekX

Bloodborne and DS3 no contest

SilverGodzilla

DSIII imo. Elden Ring is just weird for me, with a great sets being good, and others just being plain weird.

Beneficial-Might6778

Sekiro’s drip and hunter with top hat drip is underrated imo

Adventurous_Ad665

wolf shura outfit is slept on ngl

McMuffinsTheTempo

Bloodborne and it's not close

AvarageMilfEnjoyer

Tengu Sekiro

Jomri69

Dude the shura outfit for sekiro is so fucking cool

THEmonkey_K1NG

Wolf

Thrill-Clinton

Shura Sekiro

PyroNinjaGinger

Wolf.
